Chaos Ultimately Returned to Order

Once the Alliance stepped in, the unrest on Heyang City's streets was finally suppressed.

It was a simple matter. Everyone had initially planned to monopolize the Spirit Grain and see what results it brought, but now the higher-ups had spoken and forbidden it. Clearly, an arrangement had already been made.

Perhaps while they had been fighting tooth and nail out here, the big shots in the sects behind them had already finished dividing the spoils.

Though the biggest share of the credit was gone, if they could get their hands on the Spirit Grain, they could at least see what it could do, couldn't they?

The sect and clan factions could each subscribe according to a fixed quantity limit, with the total Spirit Grain they obtained not exceeding one-third of that day's stock for sale. The remaining two-thirds would be distributed and sold to ordinary cultivators according to queue order.

Strictly speaking, such a ratio certainly would not satisfy these sect cultivators.
