Dugu Feng maneuvered the hunt for Xiao Wu and Tang San’s advancement while Bibi Dong pursued her God Trial and Qian Renxue began the Angel trials. In Slaughter City, Dugu Feng freed Tang Chen from the Slaughter King, and Tang Chen headed to Spirit City to confront Bibi Dong and Qian Daoliu.

• Qian Renxue welcomed Ning Rongrong back to Heaven Dou City and learned how far Tang San and the Shrek Six Monsters had advanced on Sea God Island.
• Dugu Feng learned that Qian Daoliu suspected the Dugu Family and Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect of sheltering the Evil Soul Master, then proposed using the rumor about Xiao Wu to draw out Tang Bo.
• Tang Hao and Tang Xiao took Tang San and Xiao Wu to the Star Dou Great Forest, where Tang San absorbed powerful Spirit Rings and reached rank ninety-four.

Dugu Feng seized the Asura Demon Sword after Tang Chen died, then absorbed its power and prepared to inherit the Asura God position. As Dugu Feng arranged to marry Ning Rongrong and Ye Lingling, Bibi Dong tried to direct attention toward Tang Chen and the suspected Evil Soul Master.

• Tang Chen returned to the Clear Sky Sect, revealed his Asura God inheritance, and later admitted to Tang Hao that his trial had failed and his body was dying.
• Dugu Feng devoured the Blood Red Nine-Headed Bat King’s power, completed his Spider God trial, and sensed Tang Chen’s death on Sea God Island.
• Dugu Feng lured Bo Saixi away from the Sea God Temple, took the Asura Demon Sword, and defeated Tang Hao before fleeing the island.
• Dugu Feng gave the Blood Red Nine-Headed Bat King’s sacrifice to Ning Rongrong, raising her to rank ninety-three and granting her a three-second invincibility skill.

Qian Renxue completed the Angel God’s trials and joined forces with Dugu Feng, while their family grew and the Dugu Family’s hidden conflicts came to light. As Qian Renxue challenged Bibi Dong in Spirit City, the Earth Spirit Orb arrived and resisted their attempts to contain it.

• Qian Renxue completed the Angel God’s Fifth through Seventh Trials, reached level ninety-seven, and learned that her Eighth Trial required her to judge human sin.
• Dugu Feng explained the Dugu Family’s Spider God inheritance and its conflict with Tang Chen, then joined forces with Qian Renxue, who revealed her identity and reached level ninety-eight with his Nine Orifice Star Vortex Grass.
• Dugu Feng married Ning Rongrong and Ye Lingling, and the Nine-Colored Goddess appeared at the ceremony to pass her inheritance to Ning Rongrong.
• Dugu Feng placed Pill Beads in Spirit Hall members to monitor Bibi Dong, while Ning Rongrong and Ye Lingling became pregnant and Qian Renxue began judging cases for her Eighth Trial.

Dugu Feng became the Asura God, while Qian Renxue completed the Angel God inheritance and took control of Spirit Hall. After Dugu Feng defeated the Rakshasa God and Bibi Dong died, he and Qian Renxue began preparing their sons for Martial Soul Awakening through Ice Fire Body Tempering.

• Bibi Dong attacked Qian Renxue, but Little Jade wounded her and she escaped as Qian Renxue began the Angel God inheritance with Qian Daoliu's sacrifice.
• Dugu Feng completed the Asura God inheritance, resisted and devoured the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King's soul, then ascended as the Asura God.
• Dugu Feng killed Tang Bo, took the Earth Spirit Orb, and returned to find his godhood had transformed the Dugu Family's bloodline and granted its members poison pills.
