The Sun King and the Lich King

Vereesa Windrunner sensed the terrifying aura emanating from Alleria Windrunner, and the way she looked at Alleria changed, as though she were looking at a monster. She immediately scooped up the two children and ran for the exit of the Halls of Reflection.

"Little Star!" Even Alleria Windrunner, the eldest sister, had never expected her third sister, Vereesa Windrunner, to simply abandon her and flee on her own.

Though furious, Alleria Windrunner could only keep drawing her bow and firing at the ghosts. Arrows shot from Thas'dorah, Legacy of the Windrunners, combined with shadow power, could clear out swathes of ghosts with a single shot, but... there were simply too many enemies.

"One ran away? No matter. She was just trash. As long as the two of you become my slaves, that will be enough." The Lich King Arthas effortlessly blocked the attacks of Sylvanas, the Dark Queen, treating them like toys and showing no intention of delivering a killing blow.

Alleria Windrunner, the eldest sister, knew the difference in strength between them. Since her youngest sister had already escaped, she glanced at Sylvanas Windrunner, her second sister, then directly opened a Void portal and slipped inside.

With Alleria Windrunner, the eldest sister, and Vereesa Windrunner, the youngest sister, both gone, only Sylvanas Windrunner, the Dark Queen, remained to face the Lich King Arthas alone.
