Tonatiuh, who had spent half the day accompanying the human female mage around Zutona, sat at the head of the table. Below him sat the many Zutona Trolls.
The speaker was the witch doctor Zangar.
He was also Zutona's administrator—or, in Tonatiuh's terms, Zutona's mayor.
However, the trolls were not yet accustomed to that title. They preferred to call him High Priest, or Lord Witch Doctor.
The intelligence and information Zangar was reporting to Tonatiuh had been sent back over the past half year by the more agile Zutona Troll scouts, acting under Tonatiuh's orders throughout the Tanaris Desert.
Tonatiuh had never intended to shut himself off from the world. The Sandblood Tribe had gone to Un'Goro Crater partly because of the system's mission, and partly because only a place as energy-rich as a Titan laboratory could sustain the Eternal Statue's energy consumption.
But he had never looked down on trolls, because he himself was a troll. Moreover, Tonatiuh understood deeply that if his faction and Zutona wanted to develop truly and rapidly, one of the fastest and best methods was to subdue as many trolls as possible.
The desert trolls of Tanaris Desert were the best targets.
Besides the latest intelligence from Zul'Farrak, the scouts had sent back reports showing that the Sandfury Tribe, which had established its dominance over Zul'Farrak, had a newly appointed and wildly ambitious chieftain. The moment he took power, he began clamoring for more
