Tonatiuh intended to have Jin'do take control of the Gurubashi Tribe, whose trolls were gripped by panic.

There was no other reason.

It was simply because the God-King knew Jin'do had that ability, and among all the trolls he knew, Jin'do was the only one capable of it.

Of course, he also knew that Jin'do was a man harboring sinister intentions, a Jungle Troll with immense ambition.

In the original timeline, this fellow had painstakingly resurrected Hakkar, the Blood God, hoping to restore the glory of the Gurubashi Empire and the interests of the Hakkari.

In the end, the Wind Serpent God Hakkar, whom he had summoned, was easily and brutally beaten by a group of greedy adventurers brought in by the Zandalari Trolls, and was sent straight back to another realm.

At that point, Jin'do and the Hakkari's scheme could be said to have failed.

Yet this young hexer possessed not only exceptionally high intelligence and emotional awareness, but equally remarkable patience.

After lying low for years, Jin'do resurfaced and summoned Hakkar to Azeroth once again. But this time, Hakkar was no longer regarded as his master. The poor Wind Serpent God had his power stolen by Jin'do the moment he descended upon Azeroth.

Although Jin'do failed again this time, if he had not encountered the Fourth Scourge, who bore destiny on their shoulders, who could say that this brilliant, ambitious, and extraordinarily patient Jungle Troll could not have succeeded?

Since becoming the leader of the trolls, Tonatiuh had clearly realized that he had to—and would—stand on the side of his own race.

Their hero was our enemy, and vice versa. To the other races of Azeroth, someone like Jin'do was unquestionably an ambitious villain. But to the trolls, he was, in a sense, a hero as well.
