Richard had no affection whatsoever for creatures that survived by drinking human blood. He attacked without the slightest hesitation or mercy.

With the Evolution Trust in his left hand and the Energy Blaster in his right, he shot straight into the crowd of vampires like a black arrow. In the blink of an eye, three or five vampires were sent flying one after another, their bodies blasted to pieces midair by the light.

Perhaps because Ultraman's light naturally countered these creatures of darkness, Richard felt that the vampires were surprisingly pathetic. Even three or five of them attacking together were no match for him. He plunged into the crowd, swinging both weapons in a whirlwind of strikes, mowing them down like he was playing one of those classic Dynasty Warriors games on his handheld console.

The hall descended into chaos, and the vampires began wailing like a horde of ghosts. Richard rampaged through the crowd, sending figures flying wherever he went, their screams cut short as the light burned them to dust.

The nightclub had only one entrance, and unfortunately for the vampires, it was the very one Richard had come through. Several groups tried to use their companions as a distraction and sneak past him to escape, but none succeeded. Richard dispatched the riffraff so quickly that each hopeful group was nearly wiped out before getting within fifteen feet of the exit. The area within fifteen feet of the nightclub's entrance seemed to be an absolute no-go zone for vampires. The human standing guard at the door could hold off a thousand, and any vampire who tried to force their way through met oblivion.

The nightclub's security staff filed in from outside. They wore sunglasses and black suits like secret agents, and the burly vampires streamed inside carrying guns
