Tang Hao brought Er Ming to the Clear Sky Sect as its guardian beast while the sects prepared to oppose the Spirit Hall Empire. At the front, Tie Li and Tang San fought Tosige’s corruption and the Spirit Hall forces, and the stretch ended with Tie Li poised to defeat the resurrected Ma Hongjun.

• Zhu Zhuqing survived Beast King Ayan’s final attack, then accepted Tie Li’s help forming a Soul Core prototype so she could recover her Soul Power.
• Tang San returned to the Clear Sky Sect with Xiao Wu, rescued a child from Viscount Ji Yu’s men, and killed the abusive viscount and his household.
• Tang Hao led Tang San, Xiao Wu, and the elders to the Star Dou Great Forest, where Tang San gained a Darkgold Dreadclaw Bear soul ring and External Soul Bone before they brought the wounded Er Ming away.
• Tang Hao’s group fought Red King and Spirit Hall forces, then broke through the Wind Thunder Sword Formation with help from Beast Mountain and the Thunder God Sect.
• Xue Ye gave Tang Xiao the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud in exchange for Godly Zhuge Crossbows, as Tosige led Angel Soul Masters into battle and revealed his Fallen Fire corruption.
• Tosige corrupted Angel Soul Masters and absorbed battlefield deaths, but Tie Li arrived and attacked him before Qian Renxue burned Tosige and the remaining Angel Soul Masters with her Angel Sword.
• Tie Li fought Qian Daoliu while Tang San intervened with the Sea God Trident, and the Spirit Hall Empire then sent the Black Tiger Sect and Fire Leopard Sect against Heaven Dou’s weakened defenses.
• Resurrected Ma Hongjun challenged Tie Li as Tang San and Tang Xiao repelled Bibi Dong’s ambush, and Tie Li overwhelmed Ma Hongjun with Star of Destruction and Chains of Destruction.

Tie Li and the empires prepared for renewed conflict as Bibi Dong’s hunt in the Star Dou Great Forest provoked the soul beasts into a massive assault on Spirit City. The arc ended with Di Tian facing Qian Daoliu and Bibi Dong as the beast tide threatened to overwhelm the city.

• Tie Li dispersed Dugu Bo’s uncontrolled poison, fought Bibi Dong and helped force the Spirit Hall Empire to withdraw, then warned that the Clear Sky Sect and Thunder God Sect would face schemes before another offensive.
• Bibi Dong led Tie Wu and other soul masters into the Star Dou Great Forest, where she killed Gui Mei and claimed two hundred-thousand-year soul rings while Tie Wu obtained a hundred-thousand-year soul ring and a soul bone.
• Di Tian and the ferocious beasts threatened humanity after Demon Spirit’s death, while Bibi Dong sent Tie Wu and Hu Liena into a dark trial and ordered Spirit City to prepare for the approaching beast tide.
• The soul beasts attacked Spirit City, and Bibi Dong rallied its defenders as the Wind Sword Sect, New Seven Great Sects, and Worship Hall elders fought the creatures and struggled to hold the walls.
• Ning Rongrong revealed her Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda and Oscar showed his Heavenly Snow Woman Martial Soul, while Tie Li sent Kui Xin and Bing Ju to coordinate with the Star Luo Empire against Spirit Hall.
• After the first assault left Spirit Hall’s strongest defenders injured, the Star Luo Emperor prepared a counterattack, and Golden Crocodile Douluo challenged Bibi Dong over her role in provoking the beast tide.
• The beasts breached Spirit City’s walls in a second assault, and Di Tian attacked Jiang Mo Douluo before Qian Daoliu intervened and Bibi Dong joined him against Di Tian.

The Demon King’s defeat, the recovery of Sky Dream Ice Silkworm, and Tie Li’s divine breakthrough changed the balance of power as the empires paused their war for a soul master tournament. The sects gathered in Zolls City, where Thunder God Sect disciples clashed with Black Tiger Sect contestants.

• Tang San and the allied Soul Masters killed Demon King, while Oscar helped Sky Dream Ice Silkworm become his soul spirit and Tie Li drove back Di Tian long enough to save the group.
• Dai Mubai revealed himself as the Star Luo Imperial Family’s heir, splitting Yu Xinghe’s army, and the Spirit Hall Empire recognized the White Tiger Kingdom as its vassal.
• Xue Ye launched a counteroffensive that reclaimed seven cities before Spirit Hall halted the war and proposed that the tournament open a period of peace.
• The Spirit Hall Empire chose White Tiger Kingdom as the tournament venue, and the Star Luo Emperor accepted the plan while Dai Mubai confronted the Star Crown Sect’s threat.
• Oscar left for the Far North, Tang San developed Soul Core cultivation and reached level ninety-five, and Tie Li formed his Third Soul Core to reach level ninety-nine.
• Thunder God Sect and Clear Sky Sect sent teams to Zolls City, where Shou Xi defeated the Black Tiger Sect leader and Bing Zhao injured four attackers with lightning.
• Lei Xin and two companions arrived to confront the Black Tiger Sect, and its elder stepped forward to challenge Lei Xin.

Tie Li completed the Thunder God’s inheritance, while Zhu Zhuqing advanced in her own trials and left to pursue the Moon God’s inheritance. As Tie Li secured the Nether Duke’s support and established a base in White Flame City, Dai Mubai and the Seven Great Sects moved against the Star Luo Empire under the Spirit Hall Empire’s watch.

• Lei Zhen refused to let troublemakers provoke the Thunder God Sect at the tournament, and the Thunder God Sect Team defeated the Spirit Hall Royal Team before losing the final to the Clear Sky Sect Team.
• Bibi Dong used the tournament and the New Seven Great Sects’ resistance to advance the Spirit Hall Empire’s plans, while Tie Li began his ninth trial in the Lightning Pool.
• Tie Li witnessed scenes of murder and injustice during his trial but held to his answer, reached White Ground, and began the Thundering Nether Prison Vine’s voluntary sacrifice.
• Tie Li completed the Thunder God’s inheritance, gained the Thunder God Armor and ten soul rings, and drove Qian Renxue back when she challenged him.
• Zhu Zhuqing completed her ninth trial, gained the Moon Blade and divine armor, then sealed her tenth soul ring and asked Tie Li to help her family escape the Star Luo Empire’s control.
• Tie Li persuaded the Nether Duke to sever the Zhu Clan’s ties to the Star Luo Imperial Family and the White Tiger Kingdom, then compelled the Star Luo Emperor to relinquish White Flame City.
• Tie Li made White Flame City the Thunder God Sect’s base as Dai Mubai joined the Seven Great Sects and attacked the Star Luo Empire, while the Spirit Hall Empire allowed the White Tiger Kingdom to advance.
