Uchiha Yato had no intention of continuing the joke. He took out a scroll and placed it before Hatake Sakumo.
Without saying anything, he merely gestured for Hatake Sakumo to open it himself. He had no intention of explaining it personally.
Naturally, Hatake Sakumo knew Uchiha Yato's habits well. After taking it, he began to read.
The contents looked simple, but once translated through a special method, they became rather alarming.
At the very least, Uchiha Yato could clearly see Hatake Sakumo's pupils contract.
Only then did Uchiha Yato begin explaining a few things to Hatake Sakumo.
"Take a look at this photograph."
Uchiha Yato produced a photograph of a man who was not particularly handsome, yet gave off an excessively honest impression.
"Name: Hel."
"After verification and confirmation from multiple sources, he should be a ninja from Sunagakure, as well as one of the spies involved this time."
Hearing Uchiha Yato's words, Hatake Sakumo's face darkened for no apparent reason.
"So you're saying that after all the effort we put in, we got an alliance with a pack of ungrateful traitors?"
That was one of the more interesting things Uchiha Yato had heard over the past two days. He explained lightly.
"This person should be a spy from another faction among Sunagakure's upper ranks."
"Some of the materials we obtained earlier already showed that some of Konoha's spies came from Sunagakure and were allied with those countries."
"And for that reason, I reasonably suspect that something has happened to the Third Kazekage's health, causing two factions to fight for power."
"(P.S. I made a small change here. Otherwise, Konoha's side would still be a little too strong.)"
"(It's all personal headcanon, giving the protagonist a chance to fight four Kage-level opponents.)"
