"My, my, it seems you had quite an enjoyable journey."
Sparkle immediately appeared before the space-time tunnel to welcome Uchiha Yato and Orochimaru back.
"So? Was Yato's world fun?"
"I've really been looking forward to seeing what kind of wondrous paradise Yato's world is!"
As she spoke, Sparkle fiddled with her weapon and sighed dramatically.
Uchiha Yato asked, "How long have we been gone? What's the situation now?"
At that question, Sparkle pursed her lips before replying.
"You've been gone for three weeks. It'll soon be a full month."
"That's why I said, were you having so much fun in Yato's kingdom that you lost track of time and forgot to come home?"
Hearing this, Orochimaru immediately began checking the small mechanisms he had set up before leaving.
Sure enough, just as Sparkle had said, more than three weeks had passed, which left Orochimaru puzzled.
"Could it be that time flows differently in our two worlds?"
"We were rushing the whole time and only stayed in Uchiha Yato's world for two days. Why has so much time already passed?"
Orochimaru's clone also had something to say about that question.
"It was probably the time or energy consumed while crossing through space-time."
"That must have needed to be compensated for in another form, which is why this happened."
When Sparkle heard the two Orochimarus immediately launching into an academic discussion, she promptly ran over to Uchiha Yato and whispered to him.
"Is that the immortality technology you mentioned?"
Although Sparkle sounded doubtful, her eyes made it clear that she was certain this was the immortality technology Uchiha Yato had mentioned before.
That piqued Uchiha Yato's interest. He wondered whether Sparkle from this other world might offer a different perspective.
"The soul keeps growing. In a sense, this technique really is powerful."
