One Dead, Two Injured

Uchiha Ming noticed that the sounds of fighting had stopped on Uchiha Yo's side, and his heart tightened. He put more force into his hands. Sensing it, his opponent assumed reinforcements were about to arrive and adopted a style of fighting injury for injury. But after a while, the sounds from the other side gradually faded as well, yet no one came. Both of them grew anxious—one was eager to save the disciples on the other battlefields, while the other wondered why his allies had not arrived after so long. Could they have gone to the other side first? After all, his side was outnumbered there, but he could not hold on much longer.

At that moment, Uchiha Ming spoke. "Your companion should be dead. My disciple has already gone to support the other two. The three of them have combination ninjutsu—you know that. Haven't you been investigating who killed two of your teams? Heh. It was my three disciples. I never even made a move." His opponent's attention was drawn away for an instant, exposing an opening. The Uchiha pair had already developed a new fighting method. Though their enemy was frequently disrupted by the Sharingan's illusions, his strength was undeniable, and he continued his fierce assault without much pressure. The two Uchiha brothers could only evade everywhere. They wanted to help each other out, but they did not dare stand one in front of the other, fearing their opponent would defeat them one by one. They could only take staggered positions, lend each other a hand when they could no longer hold out, and use combination ninjutsu to resist his Water Release. Uchiha Retsu said quietly, "We're running out of chakra. Seriously, he has so much chakra. He's been casting nonstop."
