His father's death had dealt him a heavy blow, but the Hatake clan was far wealthier than it had been in the original story. Coupled with the care Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara showed him, his personality had become much brighter.

Kakashi was deeply grateful to the Uchiha Clan, because he knew that without the Uchiha stepping forward, his father would have borne that disgrace for the rest of his life. Though he had proven his resolve through death, those higher-ups still had no intention of letting him off.

If not for the Uchiha, things would have turned out terribly. The memorial service had made him see many things clearly and understand certain truths.

But no matter what he thought, Konoha would not bend to his will. Becoming stronger was the foundation of everything. Only by becoming stronger could he revitalize his clan and restore his father's glory.

He decided to follow his senior's example and graduate early. He told that senior about his plan, originally thinking the man would advise him to keep a low profile for a few years and wait for the matter of his father to blow over.

Unexpectedly, his senior was very supportive. He even said that if Kakashi graduated, he would break the record he had set, and congratulated him in advance. He also gave him his personal notes on swordsmanship training.
