After dinner, Uchiha Yo prepared to head out and visit his good brothers. He wondered whether they had fiancées too. Sigh, arranged marriages did have their advantages. For someone like him, whose emotional life was a complete blank, there was really no reason to refuse.
After getting dressed and ready to go out for some fresh air, he heard his mother's voice behind him. "Where are you going?"
"Nowhere in particular. I'm going to find Lie and Yan and take a walk together." Uchiha Yo turned and answered.
"Oh, those two brats? Then take Meimei with you. Everyone else is in pairs, so you'll look too lonely going by yourself. That settles it. Meimei, I'll leave Yo to you. Keep an eye on him and don't let him get lost." His mother pulled Meimei over and gently pushed her outside.
Get lost... am I six? Well, having someone to walk with wasn't bad.
"Meimei, do you want to take a walk together?" Uchiha Yo asked generously.
"Mm, okay. Sorry for troubling you." Meimei blushed a little, but agreed readily.
The two left the house together and heard his mother call out loudly, "Have fun! No need to come back too early!"
Watching their retreating backs, the handsome uncle said, "Do you think this is really okay? I mean, the two of them don't even know each other, and they're already engaged."
"What's not okay about it? Your son spends every day either training or thinking about how to strengthen the Uchiha. I honestly can't believe it. You fathers and uncles never seem to know what you're doing, leaving all the responsibility to my son.
At this rate, when am I ever going to hold a grandchild? Meimei's bloodline is more than worthy of our Yo. She's pretty and kind-hearted, though
