This was the first time Yrel's name had caught the attention of the Horde's upper ranks. With Kargath as her stepping stone, she gained the Horde's utmost attention after just one encounter.
Kargath was no ordinary figure—he was the chieftain of one of the eight great Orc clans, as well as one of the strongest Orc warriors.
For such a figure to be killed in a head-on duel by a Draenei slave gladiator had caused an uproar throughout the Horde.
It could be said that, from top to bottom, there were now very few in the entire Horde who did not know Yrel's name.
Yrel's feat forced the Orcs to regard the Draenei more highly, and it also added to their worries over the coming Battle of Shattrath.
But the Battle of Shattrath remained unavoidable. Both the Horde and the Burning Legion awaited that day—they could no longer wait to conquer the Draenei, the greatest power on Draenor beneath the Horde.
At the foot of the mountain known as the Throne of Kil'jaeden, the Horde army assembled.
The Shattered Hand Clan had also arrived. After a bloody struggle, the clan that had lost its chieftain selected its strongest member as the new chieftain. However, the new chieftain was far inferior to Kargath. Had their numbers and the average quality of their warriors not remained unchanged, the Shattered Hand Clan would practically have been excluded from the eight great clans.
Even so, the status of the Shattered Hand Clan, having lost Kargath, was nowhere near what it had once been.
