In truth, most of Osaal's account had been broad generalities. Though he had touched on the heart of the matter, he had not been specific enough. It could provoke thought, but not truly make people feel it for themselves.
But Osaal understood that himself.
—or rather, Yrel understood it.
Osaal had only stepped forward to set the stage.
Her true trump card was not Osaal himself, but the "plants" she had arranged among the ordinary soldiers and civilians.
Though they were called plants, they were not there to deceive anyone—they all had painful pasts and had paid a price for the Draenei's appeasement policy. Even without Yrel, they would have been the staunchest opponents of the current policy among the Draenei.
Thus, Yrel's Path of Balance and some of the ideas within it happened to align perfectly with these people's beliefs. They were Yrel's natural supporters.
Now, they needed to step forward and speak.
After Osaal finished speaking, silence fell beneath the stage. A moment later, Plant Number One took the initiative to stand up.
He was a Draenei vindicator. He seemed somewhat shy and uncomfortable speaking before such a large crowd, but when he thought of what he had experienced in the past, Plant Number One gritted his teeth and finally spoke.
"My name is Soth. I was once a vindicator stationed in Telmor. Telmor used to be a beautiful city, one that blended seamlessly into the forest. There, we lived peaceful, pastoral lives. With the Ata'mal Crystal Leafshadow concealed, not even the Orcs could disturb us for all those years—until that day..."
Though he was only an arranged plant, genuine emotion still overcame him at this point. The tall vindicator clumsily rubbed at his eyes.
"Those Orcs dispelled Leafshadow's spell and discovered us. They summoned rain of fire
