"Water Style! Water Wall!" Jin instantly raised a wall of water in front of himself. Puffs struck against the water wall. "Water Style! Water Dragon Bullet!" A water dragon surged out from before Jin and charged outside.

"Scatter!" "Aah—" "Everyone, attack together!"

"Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!" Jin threw a shuriken at the Root members outside. Then one shuriken became two, two became four, four became eight, turning into countless shuriken that flew toward the enemy. "Fire Style! Great Fireball Technique!" The ground outside the door was immediately scorched black, with several ninjas lying nearby, dead or alive unknown. Taking advantage of the momentum, Jin dashed out of Danzo's house. Jin returned to the place from the previous night and was shocked to find that everything was gone. Danzo was gone, the Root members had withdrawn, and the laboratory had been dismantled. Jin muttered, "Danzo really is a sly bastard! He abandoned the base just like that. It'll be hard to find him next time. Sigh, I should've had a clone keep watch on him last night! Wait, the clones stationed in all eight directions around Konoha Village never spotted Danzo or Root, so they must still be in Konoha! Where could they be hiding?"

Afterward, Jin searched all of Konoha, but still failed to find Danzo and the others.

Jin smiled. "Yeah, but first we need to meet a few new friends."

From the moment Jin led Hinata out of the gate, he had already sensed several ninjas following them. However, Jin did not care. Several bodyguards from the Uchiha Clan were following nearby as well. Farther away, there were also several ANBU members. Jin turned his head as though he were looking at something, but he was actually checking the quality of their tailing skills. Then he said to Hinata, "How is your Gentle Fist training going? Can you knock down a cow?" Jin teased Hinata.

"Where are Kimimaro and Aunt Lan Huizi? I want to introduce everyone to a new companion." Jin said to Haku while holding Hinata's little hand.

Haku looked at Hinata. "What a cute little sister! Did Jin pick her up?"

Jin opened his mouth and coughed dryly twice. "Haku, how can you say that? She's the eldest daughter of the Hyuga Clan—Hinata Hyuga."

"What? She's Hinata Hyuga? Your..." Haku asked in surprise.

"Alright, alright! Ask whatever you want later. Go get Aunt Lan Huizi and Kimimaro." Jin cut Haku off.

The five of them gathered together.

"This is the eldest daughter of the Hyuga Clan, Hinata Hyuga. From now on, she'll be our companion," Jin introduced.

"Please take care of me," Hinata said.

"This aunt is called Lan Huizi. The few of us are used to calling her Aunt Lan Huizi, so you can call her that too. Auntie's cooking is delicious. We'll have lunch here today. This cool little guy is Kaguya Kimimaro. Just call him Kimimaro; he doesn't like hearing others call him big brother. This older sister is Mizunotsuki Haku. Usually, you can call her Sister Haku, or just sister. Either is fine," Jin explained to Hinata.

"Jin, Haku has feelings for you..." Lan Huizi said.

"Don't say it, Aunt Lan Huizi!" Haku hurriedly stopped her.

"Jin, you lucky brat. Our Haku has taken a liking to you! What are you going to do?" Kimimaro asked.

Haku's face instantly turned red.

"Marry her, of course! Haku is such a wonderful person. If I don't marry her, nine hundred and ninety-nine bolts of divine lightning will descend from the heavens and strike me dead!" Jin said as he looked up at the sky.

"Then what about Hinata? You two are..." Lan Huizi asked with a smile.

Jin only heard half of what she said before continuing, "What do you mean, what about her? I'll marry them both! Whoever disagrees, I'll beat them until they agree!"

"Bold," Kimimaro praised coolly.

"I like that," Hinata muttered softly.

"I..." Haku did not know what to say.

"You little lecher, I knew you weren't harmless. Good thing my child is a boy. If my child were a girl, wouldn't you ruin her too? I think ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine hailstones should fall from the sky and smash you to death instead, so you don't corrupt the little flowers of this world." Lan Huizi spoke half-jokingly. Her string of words made Jin wish he could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.

Jin calmed himself and smiled. "Who told me to have two hands?" "Aunt Lan Huizi, please make more lunch. The four of us are going out to play!"

"Be careful," Lan Huizi reminded them with a smile.

"Let's go! To the highest point of Hokage Rock. We're going to enjoy the view." Jin took one person's hand in each of his own, delighted inside. The two of them met, yet nothing happened at all! What a surprise!

"Report, Lord Danzo. That idiot child from the Uchiha Clan is taking the eldest daughter of the Hyuga Clan and the two children who recently arrived in Konoha toward the top of Hokage Rock," a Root member reported.

"Send five Root squads to capture that idiot child from the Uchiha Clan. Remember, do not harm the child from the Hyuga Clan or the ninjas protecting that child," Danzo ordered viciously, a trace of hatred flashing through his heart. Damn Uchiha Clan, they actually disrupted my plans! Heh heh heh, that idiot's eyes will be the beginning of another one of my plans!
