Background

A soul from another world, Xin transmigrated into the body of a young Uchiha who died after learning of his parents' deaths. After merging with the body's lingering will, Xin vowed to live in the boy's place, honor his parents, protect the Uchiha Clan, investigate their deaths, and change the fate awaiting the clan during the Second Shinobi World War. 1 2

At age nine, Xin was already a genin. Though he considered his innate talent ordinary beside prodigies such as Uchiha Gen, he trained relentlessly in all three major shinobi disciplines. He developed under both the Uchiha mentor system and the Konoha Ninja Academy, learning ocular techniques alongside teamwork and strategy. 3 13 14

Xin inherited his parents' letters, training notebook, ninjutsu scrolls, ramen shop, real estate, and other assets. Rather than spending freely, he directed the shop's income toward books, training materials, and weapons. 4 17

Appearance

Xin is depicted as a growing Uchiha youth whose physical condition and bearing become increasingly mature through training and recovery. By age twelve, he has grown taller, developed firmer muscles, and carries himself with a calmer, steadier presence. 97

  • Deep Sharingan eyes, described as increasingly mysterious after his recovery. 97
  • At two tomoe, his Sharingan lets him perceive minute details and chakra movement. 43
  • Exceptional physical development, agility, speed, and reflexes developed through intensive taijutsu training. 7 61

Personality

Xin is driven, self-aware, and unusually disciplined. Rather than relying on the Uchiha name or treating himself as a natural genius, he repeatedly identifies his own shortcomings and builds demanding training plans around them. His previous-life experience also makes him inventive, particularly in adapting martial arts, recovery methods, and training efficiency to the shinobi world. 7 13 16

His early battlefield conduct is sometimes impulsive and overly conspicuous. Being removed as elite-squad vice-captain forces him to recognize that strength without patience, judgment, and strategy is insufficient. He later becomes markedly calmer, prioritizing self-directed growth and protecting those he values over recognition from Konoha. 86 87 101

Abilities & Skills

Sharingan

Xin possesses the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan, also called the Blood Wheel Eye in the text. He studies its development carefully and treats its power as a responsibility rather than a shortcut. 14 59

  • Reaches the two-tomoe stage, improving visual perception, battlefield analysis, and genjutsu capability. 43
  • Can perceive opponents' movements and intentions during sparring and combat. 3 71
  • Uses the Sharingan to subdue Ghost Shadow and to identify openings against sword-wielding rogue ninja. 107 106
  • Excessive use burdens both his mind and body. 43
  • Refuses to pursue the Mangekyō Sharingan through Itachi's costly path, seeking a safer method that will not sacrifice his sight. 97 99

Ninjutsu

Xin develops a broad ninjutsu repertoire and is credited with creating several techniques himself. By the end of his genin stage, he has mastered basic ninjutsu and can adapt multiple releases in battle. 37

  • Practices and improves the Uchiha Clan's Great Fireball Technique through repeated chakra expenditure. 25
  • Uses Fire Release, Lightning Release, Water Release: Phantom Clone Technique, and Fire Release: Flame Dragon Blast. 37 68
  • Created Lightning Release: Thunderclap and the Big Ball Rasengan, later trading both to the clan for two S-rank secret arts. 94
  • Kills a jōnin with a Rasengan during an escort mission. 46

Taijutsu and Armed Combat

Xin combines Naruto-style taijutsu with MMA, Sanda, and traditional Chinese medicinal baths remembered from his previous life. This produces a personal fighting style built around speed, precision, recovery, and close-range adaptability. 7 13

  • Surpasses many fellow genin in speed, strength, and the ability to exploit openings. 23
  • Uses weapons in combination with ninjutsu and taijutsu rather than treating swordsmanship as a separate discipline. 17
  • Later reassesses his overreliance on speed and taijutsu because it consumes too much chakra in prolonged battles. 77
  • Studies foreign taijutsu systems but rejects approaches that sacrifice bodily endurance for short bursts of power. 113 114

Genjutsu

Xin's Uchiha heritage gives him a strong foundation in genjutsu. He uses illusions for battlefield control, intelligence gathering, and chakra conservation. 37 77

  • Can trap enemies in Sharingan-based illusions and manipulate their senses and consciousness. 37 43
  • Uses genjutsu to obtain information about the Bounty Hunters' Guild. 106
  • Deliberately shifts toward genjutsu after recognizing it can confuse enemies while preserving chakra. 77

Shadow Clone Technique

Xin finds a forbidden Shadow Clone Technique scroll left by his parents and masters it through repeated practice. 16 21

  • Initially consumes nearly half of his chakra per use. 21
  • Sends clones to attend classes while his true body continues taijutsu training. 21
  • Uses clones for training, battle assistance, and to protect escort target Suzuki Taro during an ambush. 16 118

Golden Bell Shield

Xin refines the Golden Bell Shield from an ancient defensive ninjutsu into his most dependable defensive technique. 64

  • Provides formidable defense and works in tandem with his Sharingan. 64
  • Treats defense as a tactical tool rather than simple damage prevention. 64

Teaching and Black Eye Research

After leaving the battlefield, Xin becomes an instructor to young Uchiha and emphasizes character, willpower, tactical thought, and combat skill alongside ninjutsu. 91

  • Develops specialized vision exercises for students who have not awakened their Blood Wheel Eyes. 92
  • More than half of his students awaken the Blood Wheel Eye under his instruction. 93
  • Is recognized as the founder of the Black Eye, although he cannot use it himself. 93
  • Trades his self-created techniques for S-rank arts intended to support Black Eye cultivation within the clan. 94

Equipment & Assets

  • Tachi — His primary early blade, purchased with his inheritance and maintained for battlefield use. 17 49
  • Short blades and concealed weapons — Carried for emergencies and integrated into his combat style. 17
  • Handmade ninja tools — Personally crafted and stored in his ninja pouch before joining the war. 49
  • Forged blade — A stronger replacement sword made from rare, energy-bearing materials using his forging skill and ninjutsu knowledge. 111
  • Parents' letters, ninjutsu scrolls, and training notebook — Sources of emotional guidance and technical instruction. 4 16
  • Ramen shop and real estate — Inherited assets that finance his training, weapons, books, and travel. 17

Relationships

  • Original body's owner — Xin's deceased predecessor; Xin promises to fulfill his wishes, honor his parents, and protect their clan. 2
  • Xin's parents — Deceased Uchiha shinobi whose letters, scrolls, notebook, shop, and estate become Xin's inheritance and motivation. 4 17
  • Uchiha Chen — Clan mentor who teaches Xin about the Sharingan's stages, risks, and responsible use. 14
  • Uchiha Gen — Friend, rival, ally, and later student; Xin guides Gen's training and recognizes his growth after Lin Ren's death. 47 71 83 111
  • Uchiha Lin Ren — Fellow Uchiha trained by Xin; his death drives Xin and the elite squad's revenge campaign. 47 82 84
  • Senju Shin — Frontline commander who removes Xin as elite-squad vice-captain due to his impulsiveness, becoming an important corrective influence. 86
  • Yuan — Friend who accompanies Xin toward the Second Shinobi World War battlefield. 49
  • Nara Shin — Xin's captain during his third supply mission. 51
  • Suzuki Taro — Escort client who becomes a trusted companion after revealing that his mission and inherited formula conceal greater dangers. 118 120

Story Role / Major Arcs

Early Training and Genin Development

Xin begins as a newly transmigrated Uchiha determined to survive the Second Shinobi World War era and avert the clan's future tragedy. He trains in isolation, develops a mixed martial arts style, learns Shadow Clones, and reaches mastery of genin-level taijutsu, ninjutsu, and genjutsu. 1 7 21 37

Second Shinobi World War

At age ten, Xin joins the war to defend Konoha and the Uchiha Clan. He completes dangerous missions, fights alongside Gen and Lin Ren, leads an elite squad, and helps carry out the revenge operation for Lin Ren's death. 46 49 82 84

His battlefield success brings unwanted attention and exposes flaws in his leadership. Senju Shin removes him from the vice-captain position for rash decisions, prompting Xin to focus on tactics, emotional restraint, ninjutsu, and ocular techniques. 84 86 87

Clan Instructor and Black Eye Founder

After the war, Xin remains at the Uchiha Clan Grounds rather than returning to frontline conflict. He trains young Uchiha, patrols the grounds, and develops instructional methods that lead many students to awaken their Blood Wheel Eyes. His work establishes him as the Black Eye's founder. 91 92 93

Independent Missions and Quasi-Kage Breakthrough

Following recovery, Xin postpones dangerous Mangekyō experimentation and focuses on balanced development. He reaches quasi-Kage chakra level, takes escort work to find a new purpose in fighting, and accepts bounty missions against rogue ninja. 97 101 106 107

One ten-million-ryō bounty target is identified as Shadow Wolf in the mission account, though a detailed passage also calls the rogue ninja Shadow Blade. Xin gathers intelligence, tracks the target to an abandoned cave, and defeats him. 106

Sword Village Escort

Xin accepts an A-rank escort mission to Sword Village and protects merchant Suzuki Taro. As multiple jōnin attackers pursue Taro, Xin uses Shadow Clones, Sharingan insight, ninjutsu, and tactical planning to keep the caravan safe. After Taro confesses the deeper stakes behind the mission, Xin defeats a peak-jōnin pursuer and continues serving as his protector. 115 118 120 122

Journey of Growth

Rather than immediately returning to Konoha, Xin undertakes high-risk underground missions to strengthen himself. His growing reputation does not lessen his humility; a peaceful mountain village and the kindness of its residents reinforce his belief that power should protect the people and places he cherishes. 123
