Two days later, at a military base somewhere in the west, Shen Feng sat beside a missile silo, staring blankly at the sky.
Just moments ago, more than a dozen strategic nuclear missiles from the base had been launched toward distant cities and volcanic seismic belts.
Kuafu and the three ape cavalrymen sat nearby as well. Their eyes were bloodshot, and they looked grimy and utterly exhausted.
Over the past two days, they had first driven around, locating the nearest missile bases, then switched to helicopters at a military airfield, covering nearly all the land of what had once been this eastern human superpower.
Using the few remaining satellites in conjunction with the information found at the military bases, they had launched every strategic nuclear missile they could find.
They had barely rested for two days. Even with the Ape Clan's remarkable stamina, they were reaching their limits.
The contrails left by the missiles were dissipating in the sky. Shen Feng calculated the time. It was almost time for the meteorite to strike the Reverse Dyson Sphere of the Dark Apocalypse.
Unlike the two hundred nuclear warheads previously disclosed, this former eastern superpower possessed nearly two thousand warheads. And that was only the number of land-based strategic nuclear missiles. If the nuclear submarines sunk beneath the sea were included, the number would be even higher.
Still, that was only normal.
In the former world, it had been impossible for the nuclear powers to be completely open and transparent with one another, much less a nation that had risen later.
But none of that mattered anymore.
Human civilization had been completely wiped out in this world, replaced by countless stone statues and the Myriad Will, which had vanished into some unknown dimension. Everything that had once belonged to human civilization was
