Background

Yuan Cheng is Elder Sorrowless’s maternal nephew and personal disciple. He repeatedly asked to study the Muscle-Tendon Transformation Scripture, but Elder Sorrowless judged him unsuited to it and refused; after persistent requests, he instead taught Yuan Cheng the Clear Still Finger. Yuan Cheng accepted this without resentment. 3 4
