The arc ended with him preparing to face Tang San’s Shrek team in the Great Soul Arena and learning that three rainbow-grade traits awaited him at level fifty.

• Yun Tian awakened the Sky-Piercing Spear with innately full soul power, then chose four powerful traits from the Tag System and enrolled at Notting Academy.
• Yun Tian deleted Tang San’s Plane Destiny, hunted his first Soul Ring with Yuan Hua, and later developed the Sky-Suppressing Spear Art while Tang San’s resentment grew.
• Yun Tian left Notting Academy early, took the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone from Ah Yin’s cave, converted it into a Rift-Splitting Dragonback Beast Soul Bone, and absorbed it.

Yun Tian’s battle with Tang Hao leads to Xiao Wu’s sacrifice and leaves him determined to grow stronger. At Heaven Dou Royal Academy, he heals Dugu Bo and helps Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling transform, while Shrek seeks a place at Blue Tyrant Academy.

• Yun Tian defeated the Shrek Team, then Tang Hao attacked him after Xiao Wu asked why he had pretended not to know her.
• Xiao Wu revealed herself as a hundred-thousand-year soul beast and sacrificed herself to empower Yun Tian, while Chen Xin blocked Tang Hao’s final strike.
• Tang Hao escaped with Tang San, and Yun Tian gained five Soul Rings as Chen Xin confronted Shrek Academy and punished Dai Mubai.
• Yun Tian joined the Imperial Battle Team’s move to Heaven Dou Royal Academy and vowed to destroy Tang Hao and the Haotian Sect.
• Yun Tian brought Dugu Bo to the Ice-Fire Yin-Yang Eyes, used an immortal herb to heal and evolve him, and claimed the garden’s remaining herbs.

Yun Tian gained a hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring, strengthened ties with Ning Fengzhi’s family, and prepared with the Imperial Battle Team as the tournament began. Tang San returned to Blue Tyrant Academy and led his team to a decisive opening victory, while tensions with Yun Tian and Skywater Academy remained.

• Yun Tian defeated Flender in a duel, after which Dugu Bo cut off Flender’s arm and poisoned him, and Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling obtained Soul Rings that made them Soul Ancestors.
• Xue Qinghe and Ning Fengzhi tried to recruit Yun Tian, and Ning Fengzhi entrusted him with the Aromatic Silk Beauty for Ning Rongrong in exchange for Soul Coins and a promised Soul Bone.
• Tang Hao took Tang San away for training, then brought him back with the Blue Silver Emperor and Soul Power Level forty-three, while forbidding Yu Xiaogang from directing him.
• Yun Tian found the wounded Sky-Burning Thunder Prison Dragon, raised its cultivation with All Things Meld, and absorbed its hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring and left arm bone to reach Soul Power Level sixty-five.
• Xue Qinghe learned Bibi Dong planned to ambush teams traveling to Spirit City and warned her that Qian Daoliu would intervene if she targeted Yun Tian.
• Yun Tian displayed his six Soul Rings to the academy committee, then went to the night market with Dugu Yan, Ye Lingling, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing, where he encountered Tang San and his companions.
• The Preliminary Tournament opened, and Yun Tian watched Blue Tyrant Academy face Emperor Team 2 as Tang San defeated all seven opponents by himself.
• Dai Mubai boasted that he could defeat Skywater Academy, and Liu Erlong punched him into a wall and warned him not to damage the team’s reputation.

Yun Tian and his companions survived a Spirit Hall ambush and reached Spirit City, where the tournament exposed rivalries and hidden schemes. Blue Tyrant lost to Star Luo, but Zhu Zhuqing and the Imperial Battle Team defeated Star Luo, leaving Dai Mubai abandoned as the final tournament stage began.

• Tang San rejected Yu Xiaogang and attacked him, but Liu Erlong stopped him from killing his former teacher.
• Yun Tian and Dugu Bo turned away Spirit Hall recruiters, while Canghui Academy's Seven Asura Illusion trapped Blue Tyrant Academy before Tang San broke it and won the match.
• Tang Hao killed Shi Nian, and Yun Tian's convoy was ambushed by Spirit Hall assassins until Dugu Bo and Ning Fengzhi helped drive them off.
• Bibi Dong imprisoned Yu Xiaogang and confronted Xue Qinghe, who revealed himself as Qian Renxue, while the tournament teams gathered in Spirit City.
• Blue Tyrant Academy defeated Blazing Fire Academy, but Spirit Hall and the Imperial Battle Team also showed their strength as Bibi Dong eyed Tang San's Twin Martial Souls and Ning Rongrong's Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda.
• Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun used the Hell White Tiger to defeat Blue Tyrant Academy, and Tang San refused to reveal his Clear Sky Hammer as Dai Mubai and Yu Tianheng were badly injured.
• Yun Tian pinned the Star Luo Battle Team with his Sky-Piercing Spear, and Zhu Zhuqing rejected Dai Weisi's demand before he surrendered, leaving Dai Mubai abandoned by Star Luo.
• Gui Mei arranged for the New Kamikaze Battle Team to help Spirit Hall wear down the Imperial Battle Team, and Dugu Yan volunteered to fight first in the arena elimination.
