Xie Xie was, after all, an agility-attack Soul Master. After glancing at the height, he lightly pushed off the wall with the tip of his foot and leaped to nearly the same height as Lin Yu, who immediately pulled him into the hole.

"Brother Yu, what are you trying to do?" Xie Xie looked around and asked in confusion.

Lin Yu did not answer. He merely turned around and continued corroding the metal and brick walls deeper inside.

Although Xie Xie had no idea what was going on, he continued following Lin Yu. In his eyes, Lin Yu was now his only hope. He could not get out of this building on his own.

Outside the perimeter, Guang Biao did not immediately order an attack after making his announcement.

At that, Guang Biao broke into a wide grin and waved at Lin Yu and Xie Xie. "Learn your lesson, kids. Some excitement isn't for people your age to watch. If you insist on watching, you'll easily get yourselves into trouble."

Lin Yu and Xie Xie nodded, then turned and headed toward Eastsea Academy.

Only after the mecha unit was no longer visible behind them did Xie Xie finally let out a breath. Still shaken, he said, "That scared me to death. I thought they were going to mistake us for evil Soul Masters and casually blast us to pieces."
