Background

Ao Tian hatched from a giant egg placed on primitive Douluo Star by his uncle, Ao Yan. The planet itself had been created by Ao Tian's father and entrusted to Ao Yan during a catastrophe targeting the Dragon Race and the prophesied “Child of the Universe.” 857 858

Before his long slumber, Ao Tian rose from weakness to become the strongest being on the planet. His human soul left him isolated, and he slept for five hundred million years until humanity's birth stirred his curiosity again. His awakening in the planet's magma caused worldwide disasters and drew the God Realm's attention. 1 2

After awakening, he entered Spirit City to experience human life, food, and companionship. He discovered Qian Xunji's intentions toward Bibi Dong, became her protector, and travelled the continent with her for ten years.
