Ao Tian refused to lead the Soul Beasts against humanity, but agreed to seek another way to resolve their troubles while helping Gu Yuena heal. Back at Nuoding Academy, he defeated Tang San and forced Yu Xiaogang to honor their wager, leaving Yu Xiaogang eager to learn Ao Tian’s background.

• Ao Tian refused Gu Yuena’s request to fight humanity and left the Star Dou Great Forest, while Gu Yuena decided to seek him out with Xiao Wu.
• Ao Tian returned to Spirit City, restored Bibi Dong’s youthful appearance with a pill, and began developing a cultivation method for Hu Liena.
• In Nuoding City, Ao Tian reunited with Gu Yuena and Xiao Wu, drove off a man who had pursued them, and agreed to find his own way to address the Soul Beasts’ problems.
• Ao Tian gave Gu Yuena his essence blood to help heal her injuries, then rode with Xiao Wu toward Nuoding Academy as Gu Yuena refused to return to the forest.
• Gu Yuena joined Dormitory Seven and chose to share Xiao Wu’s bed, while Tang San became captivated by her and renewed his challenge to Ao Tian.
• Ao Tian stopped Gu Yuena from attacking Grandmaster and Tang San, then went to the back mountain to face Tang San before Grandmaster and the academy dean.
• Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass, hidden weapons, and movement technique failed against Ao Tian, who defeated him in close combat and told Grandmaster the wager was settled.
• Yu Xiaogang honored his wager, but Ao Tian challenged his cultivation theories and revealed his two purple Soul Rings before leaving with Gu Yuena and Xiao Wu.

After graduating from Nuoding Academy, Ao Tian took Xiao Wu and Gu Yuena to Spirit City, where Gu Yuena revealed her identity to Bibi Dong and confessed her love for Ao Tian. Gu Yuena left for the Star Dou Great Forest when Bibi Dong initially refused to share him, but Ao Tian reunited them after Bibi Dong changed her mind, and Bibi Dong also accepted Xiao Wu.

• Ao Tian, Xiao Wu, and Tang San prepared to leave Nuoding Junior Soul Master Academy, and Tang San invited Ao Tian and Xiao Wu to apply to Shrek Academy while urging Gu Yuena to join after her next year.
• Gu Yuena refused to attend Shrek Academy and said she would go wherever Ao Tian went, so she and Xiao Wu traveled with him to Spirit City.
• Ao Tian showed Gu Yuena and Xiao Wu his unfinished created world, then brought them to Spirit City and introduced them to Bibi Dong.
• Gu Yuena revealed that she was the Silver Dragon King and Xiao Wu was a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast, and she and Bibi Dong apologized and became friends.
• Gu Yuena confessed that she loved Ao Tian and asked Bibi Dong to accept her as another of his women, but Bibi Dong refused to share him.
• Gu Yuena wrote Ao Tian a farewell letter and left for the Star Dou Great Forest, but Bibi Dong later told Ao Tian she was willing to accept Gu Yuena and Xiao Wu.
• Ao Tian found Gu Yuena with his Divine Sense, told her Bibi Dong had agreed, and took her to the Lake of Life, where he gave her an Inverse Scale that she refined into golden armor and a spear.
• Bibi Dong told Xiao Wu she could become Ao Tian’s woman too, and Ao Tian later assured Xiao Wu that Gu Yuena had safely returned to the Star Dou Great Forest.

Ao Tian celebrated Qian Renxue’s birthday, reassured her about her feelings for him, and helped Xiao Wu through her first period before setting out with Xiao Wu and Gu Yuena. On the way to Shrek Academy, they rescued Zhu Zhuqing and reached Suotuo City, where they found the Rose Hotel damaged after Tang San’s fight and had to seek another place to stay.

• Ao Tian gave Bibi Dong Gu Yuena’s letter and promised to help resolve the conflict between humans and Soul Beasts, then brought Qian Renxue home for her birthday.
• Ao Tian took Bibi Dong, Qian Renxue, Xiao Wu, and Hu Liena above Douluo Star, and later told Qian Renxue that Bibi Dong would accept her as his woman.
• Ao Tian found Xiao Wu frightened by her bleeding and stomach pain, reassured her, and left her with Bibi Dong to learn how to manage her period.
• Ao Tian visited Gu Yuena in the Star Dou Great Forest, helped her repair a rift, and invited her to travel with him and Xiao Wu to Shrek Academy.
• Ao Tian and Xiao Wu left Bibi Dong after their two-month stay, visited Xiao Wu’s mother, and set out with Gu Yuena toward Shrek Academy.
• Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing drove off the four men pursuing Zhu Zhuqing, then invited her into Ao Tian’s carriage and continued toward Suotuo City.

Ao Tian and the girls reached Suotuo City, where Zhu Zhuqing learned of Dai Mubai’s betrayal and chose to join them at Shrek Academy under the name Zhu Qing. At the academy, the group passed the initial assessments and faced Zhao Wuji’s challenge to survive one incense stick of combat.

• Ao Tian’s group found Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass scattered through the damaged Rose Hotel lobby, then moved to another hotel where Dai Mubai approached Gu Yuena and Zhu Zhuqing concealed her identity.
• Zhu Zhuqing heard Dai Mubai promise marriage to two women before being intimate with them, and Xiao Wu encouraged her to reject her family’s demands and choose her own future.
• Zhu Zhuqing agreed to attend Shrek Academy with the group, while Ao Tian agreed to help her advance if Xiao Wu slept beside him that night.
• Xiao Wu took Zhu Zhuqing shopping, and Ao Tian encountered Tang San buying a crystal before noticing a burly figure in a black cloak nearby.
• The group traveled toward Shrek Academy with Zhu Zhuqing using the name Zhu Qing, and Ao Tian’s Dragon Horse knocked a white-dressed young woman from her black horse.
• The young woman, Ning Rongrong, joined them in the carriage after asking for a ride, and later apologized to Gu Yuena, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Qing for her behavior.
• At Shrek Academy, Ao Tian, Xiao Wu, and Gu Yuena revealed three Soul Rings each, while Zhu Qing and Ning Rongrong displayed Soul Power ranks of twenty-seven and twenty-six.
• Dai Mubai led the applicants to Zhao Wuji, who required the six of them to last one incense stick against him, prompting Dai Mubai to object that the test broke the rules.
