• Tang San led the group against Zhao Wuji, endured until the incense burned out, and knocked the teacher down with his hidden weapons before losing consciousness from his injuries.
• Ao Tian removed the Dragon Whisker Needles from Zhao Wuji, who admitted the group to Shrek Academy.
• Dai Mubai assigned the students to separate dormitories, and Ao Tian joined Gu Yuena and the girls on a trip to Suotuo City.
• Tang San revealed his longstanding love for Gu Yuena, but Ao Tian told him she had agreed to be with him, prompting Dai Mubai to challenge Ao Tian.

Ao Tian defeated Dai Mubai after Ma Hongjun’s Evil Fire incident, prompting conflict with Flender and renewed attention to Zhu Zhuqing’s cultivation. The arc ended with Flender sending the students toward the Star Dou Great Forest to seek Soul Rings for Tang San and Zhu Zhuqing.

• Ma Hongjun harassed the girls and fought Zhu Zhuqing, but Gu Yuena changed his flames into black fire that badly burned him before Flender carried him to a pond.
• Flender explained Shrek Academy’s rules and announced a trip to the Star Dou Great Forest for Tang San’s third Soul Ring, while Zhu Zhuqing revealed she had reached rank thirty and would join the search.

Ao Tian led the group toward the Star Dou Great Forest, where tensions over Oscar’s sausages, Zhao Wuji’s authority, and Ao Tian’s sword shaped their journey. The group killed a Man Faced Demon Spider for Tang San, who absorbed its Soul Ring and emerged with a Soul Bone.

• Zhao Wuji led the students toward the Star Dou Great Forest, and Xiao Wu carried the exhausted Ning Rongrong while Ao Tian and Gu Yuena kept pace ahead.
• Ao Tian caught Zhao Wuji eavesdropping on the girls, and Ning Rongrong threatened to report him before Ao Tian explained Zhao Wuji’s curiosity about their sudden recovery.
• At the forest entrance, Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong refused Oscar’s sausages, and Ao Tian stepped between Xiao Wu and Zhao Wuji when Zhao Wuji moved toward her.
• Ao Tian summoned a golden dragon-shaped sword, let Tang San test it, and later refused to sell it to Ning Rongrong, who arranged to pay him for a new sword instead.

Ao Tian defeated Tang San and then negotiated with Flander over his place at Shrek, before Ning Rongrong approached him about making Soul Tools for her sect.

• Tang San awakened with the Eight Spider Lances, learned to retract them, and challenged Ao Tian to a fight after claiming he could now match him.
• Zhu Zhuqing gained the Soul Skill Nether Slash, and the group returned to Shrek, where Ma Hongjun appeared with severe burns and Flender promised to seek treatment for him.
• Ao Tian forged Ning Rongrong a seven-colored bow, which she named the Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda Bow after testing its ice arrows and learning it could fire elemental shots that tracked targets.
• Tang San reached level thirty-three and attacked Ao Tian with Hidden Weapons, but Ao Tian’s golden barrier deflected them and his Flowing Light Bow knocked aside the Godly Zhuge Crossbow’s bolts.
