Two Eliminated!

Krum's heart seemed to skip a beat.

Beside Wade stood an enormous cheetah. Even lying on the ground, it was half a man's height, its dark green body looking agile and dangerous.

Wade leaned against the cheetah, one hand resting on the beast's neck, utterly unconcerned that it might tear out his throat.

"Golem!"

The moment the word surfaced in his mind, Krum swiftly raised his wand. Just as a red glow appeared at its tip, a sharp pain struck his back, followed by numbness spreading through his entire body.

Through his rigid gaze, he could see tiny spores drifting down from above. They were so minute, like dust carried by moving air, that no one would have noticed them at all.

Krum's heart raced, his breaths became short and labored, and his vision grew increasingly hazy. He desperately shifted his head and finally saw several suffocating figures—

A giant gorilla hung from a tree, with tangled branches, leaves, and a few scattered flowers sprouting from all over its body, making it nearly indistinguishable from the canopy. Seeing that Krum had lost the ability to resist, it let out a strange "cackle, cackle, cackle" laugh.

A mantis over a meter tall hid in the bushes. The sickles on its forelimbs were lined with serrated spikes, and its triangular head tilted to one side with an almost adorable air. Krum's stiff figure was reflected in its enormous compound eyes.

That vague thought surfaced in Krum's mind. He struggled to lift his eyes and look upward.

A huge lizard clung to the thick trunk above. Pressed tightly against the bark, it looked as though it were part of the tree itself. Dust-like spores drifted down in streams from the gaps between its scales.
