Slaughter

Voldemort's wand traced an arc through the air, and dozens of sparks burst from its tip. They instantly transformed into giant serpents, hissing as they lunged at the Golems.

"Burn them all!"

Voldemort's hoarse roar echoed through the night sky.

The fire serpents seemed capable of teleportation, wrapping directly around the foremost crabs and mantises. The intense heat melted the crabs' hard shells, black molten metal dripping down their curved legs. Several crabs could no longer keep their balance, their bodies toppling helplessly.

Most of the Mantis Golem's body was made of nonflammable materials. It charged forward through the flames, then slammed headfirst into an invisible barrier in the air!

It paused, broke through the obstruction, and swung its scythes fiercely at a Death Eater. The hard ground beneath its feet suddenly softened!

Swamp Curse!

The mantis's six segmented limbs sank into the bog in an instant. The more it struggled, the faster it sank. As it fought to break free, four or five spells struck it at once.

Fragments of its green shell flew everywhere. The mantis's compound eyes flickered a few times before finally going dark.

The Death Eaters gathered around Voldemort, their wands whipping wildly as they fired Dark Curses in every direction. They were adult wizards, after all; the power of their Charms was incomparable to that of students at school.

"Stupefy!"

A cheetah that had only just emerged lost consciousness at once and collapsed to the ground.

"Confringo!"

Half the crab's body exploded into pieces, and it crashed down.

"Confringo!"

The roaring gorilla's cry cut off as its body was instantly swallowed by explosive fire.

Some Golems were controlled by Confundus Charms and Imperius Curses, turning on their companions and even trying to attack Wade. They were all swept away by the massive Jellyfish Golem.
