Assistant Paul withdrew his gaze, his flawless smile returning to his face.

He said respectfully, "I understand your urgency. Sir Stonefield has been waiting for your arrival."

Brolin had only just begun to smile when he heard the other man say apologetically:

A trace of displeasure flashed through Brolin's eyes, but he did not act on it.

He glanced at the silent Golem legion behind him, then at the impeccably guarded assistant before him. A cold curve lifted at the corner of his lips.

"Fine... Take us to our rooms."

He headed toward the station exit, and all the Golems immediately moved in unison. Only Ilari was half a beat slow to react, hurrying after them.

Assistant Paul raised a hand to stop them. "Sorry, but we may not have suitable rooms prepared for so many Golems. Could you ask them to rest here in the station?"

He smiled. "I guarantee this place is far more comfortable than that rat hole from before."
