This book launched with 4,800 first-day subscribers. Eighteen days later, it was nearing 9,200 average subscribers—just one step away from 10,000.

So far, it had 60,000 bookmarks, and the backend showed nearly 10,000 readers following along, including iOS users! Average subscriptions were still lower than the number of readers following along! The conversion rate wasn't looking great, either!

There was nothing I could do. At the start of the month, I'd been too naive. I thought our numbers and rapid updates would land us a decent spot on the monthly vote rankings, but it had been too long since I'd started a new book. Times had changed.
