A Preface Against Nitpicking

Before the main text, there were a few things I wanted to say first.

1. Hokage itself had many contradictory plot holes that could not be reconciled. When writing this book, I could only choose the interpretation most beneficial to the plot and develop it from there.

2. It was precisely because of these plot holes that Hokage fanfiction was so exciting. There were too many places for fanfiction authors to freely expand upon. But keep in mind that these additions were imagined by many fanfiction authors and did not represent the original work. Every author had different views on these plot holes, and after following Hokage for so long, it was easy to mistake things from fanfiction for things from the original. I was no exception. Only after looking through a great deal of material did I realize that some of my own understanding of Hokage had never been mentioned in the original at all—they were merely fanfiction interpretations.

3. Before starting this book, I looked up a great deal of Hokage material. The story was also extended from the original work, while interpretations or worldviews from other fanfictions that benefited the plot were incorporated as well. So, based on point two, if you find anything in this story that differs from what you remember, you were welcome to comment with screenshots from the original manga or anime. But please do not casually throw around subjective guesses like "making things up" or "Has the author even watched Hokage?" before leaving a two-star review in a huff.

4. As a newcomer, this book had many shortcomings. I personally read more power-leveling Hokage fanfiction, so this book started at a comparatively lower point. The Quincy power obtained was benchmarked against the strength of the cannon fodder in the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, so the early pacing was a little slower and focused mainly on survival. But the power-ups would come quickly. By the time of the Third Shinobi World War, he would basically have Kage-level combat power.

5. As for the Caged Bird, the protagonist simply had no ability to resolve it early on. He could not even guarantee his own survival, so how could he talk about freedom? But before the Caged Bird was resolved, there would be no plot involving conflict with the main family, so rest assured. By the time I wrote this preface, the plot had already reached the point where the protagonist was helping others resolve the Caged Bird.

6. The early and middle parts of this book would probably focus on beyond-visual-range attacks. Later on, it would gradually move toward the sheer style of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc Quincy teams.

So, Tomato fanfiction style.

Type 1 to get Hinata.

Type 2 to get Tsunade.

Type 3 to pick for yourself, embrace beauties on both sides, and enter the main text.

The main text begins below.

"Uh... no, let go of me..."

"..."

Waves of tearful sobbing mixed with the creaking of furniture, making Zhou Qing's head buzz.

"Who the hell is it, making such a racket first thing in the morning?"

Frowning, he instinctively turned over, only to feel as though his body had fallen apart. Pain stabbed through him everywhere.

Then a flood of memories that did not belong to him suddenly poured into his mind.

Hyuga Seisen, branch family.

Only one parent dead. His mother had died while carrying out a mission.

His father was still alive, and he also had a grandmother.

What the hell?

My stocks had just turned green, and you sent me to the Hokage world?

"Let go of me..."

That suppressed, hoarse female voice came again.

This time, Hyuga Seisen noticed the creaking furniture...

It seemed...

To be coming from the bed beneath him swaying!

"?"

"Holy shit!"

His heart jolted, and he suddenly understood.

He desperately lifted his eyelids, trying to break free from this sleep-paralysis-like predicament.

His eyes opened a sliver.

Through his blurry vision, he could vaguely make out a beautiful figure bracing herself over him.

Waves of body fragrance, carrying a faint scent of sweat, drifted into his nose.

In his daze, he could even feel the woman extend a hand and clutch at his clothes, gripping tighter and tighter with the rhythm.

The old bedframe was beginning to groan under the strain of the shaking.

Hyuga Seisen's guess grew increasingly absurd.

"?"

"Did I transmigrate into the proper Hokage world?"

He forced his eyes open, desperately trying to dispel the pixelated blur before him.

As his eyelids rose, his vision gradually sharpened.

His gaze first locked onto the pale white flesh swaying beneath the tattered clothes in front of him.

Then it moved upward, to the pretty face close to his own.

The woman's face was streaked with tears, her delicate features soaked in grief.

She panted rapidly, biting her lower lip as though enduring something.

When she saw Hyuga Seisen open his eyes, a trace of excitement and joy surfaced through her pained expression.

Her eyes were full of pleading, and her lips silently repeated two words.

"Save you?" Hyuga Seisen judged what she was saying from the shape of her mouth.

Confused, he shifted his gaze, following her heaving body all the way behind her.

Through the gaps in the woman's hair, he finally saw the face behind her.

A burly man with a bald, gleaming head and a face covered in thick, tangled beard.

The man was enormous, his muscles as powerful as a bull's.

His fan-sized palm struck the woman from time to time.

In an instant!

Hyuga Seisen's mind buzzed.

His heart nearly stopped beating.

His pupils contracted, and cold sweat poured down his back.

Overwhelming fear stirred up the memories of the body's previous owner.

The previous owner had followed three senior ninja to the border on a mission, and the mission had gone smoothly.

On their way back, they had been stopped by a group of villagers who begged them to deal with a rogue ninja nearby who had been assaulting and murdering women. Several families had already suffered.

The team leader, who had Chunin-level strength, believed the rogue ninja was not very powerful and readily accepted the task.

Yet in a three-on-one fight, all three senior ninja, including the team leader, had been slaughtered.

The previous owner had been young and hid in the back.

But he had soon been caught and hacked into a serious injury.

And this burly man was the rogue ninja who had wiped out Hyuga Seisen's team.

Afterward, the previous owner had been brought to this wooden cabin by the woman.

Unexpectedly, the burly man had returned and followed the trail here.

That was how this scene had come about.

Under the threat of death, Hyuga Seisen desperately suppressed the rise and fall of his chest, forcing himself to calm down.

His eyes scanned the surroundings while his mind raced, searching for a way to survive!

The door and holes in the walls were all behind the burly man.

That meant he could only escape by getting past him.

But the three senior ninja who had led the mission consisted of one Chunin and two Genin.

They had carried out missions for years and were highly experienced.

Yet they had been butchered like chickens in a three-on-one battle.

That meant the burly man was at least an experienced Chunin.

Perhaps even a Special Jonin!

He was merely a repeat student who had not even begun to master the Gentle Fist. Charging in would be nothing more than delivering himself to the slaughter.

Damn it!

This was an unsolvable deathtrap.

"You're awake?" A rough voice suddenly sounded from behind the woman.

Hyuga Seisen's heart tightened, and he rolled away almost on instinct!

A kunai grazed his body and buried itself deeply in the spot where he had just been lying!

He hurriedly got up, intending to run past the burly man.

A thick, hairy leg shot out from behind the woman and viciously kicked Hyuga Seisen.

The enormous force sent him flying.

His bandage-wrapped body slammed heavily into the wooden wall before crashing hard onto the floor.

"Stay there obediently. I'll deal with you later, hahahaha!" The burly man sneered viciously.

Seeing the vast disparity in strength, the woman could not bear to watch and turned her head aside.

Hyuga Seisen felt as if every bone in his body had shattered and his internal organs had shifted out of place. He lay sprawled on the ground, unable to move for a moment.

The tremendous impact left his thoughts muddled, and he even began to hallucinate.

In a blur, he seemed to see several lines of text appear before him.

But when he tried to look closer, they vanished.

"Bad man... let go of Mommy!"

At that moment, a young voice cried out.

He instinctively looked toward the sound.

Beside the burly man, a two- or three-year-old girl was wailing loudly.

Her tiny hands clutched tightly at the man's leg hair, trying to pull him away from the woman.

Only then did he realize.

The little girl had likely been pinned beneath the burly man's foot all along, which was why the woman had been so compliant.

"Hiss..." The burly man sucked in a breath.

Even though he had fought through blood and fire for years, having a clump of leg hair forcibly torn out by a little girl still made him jump from the pain.

"You little bastard, you're courting death!"

The burly man's eyes widened in fury. In a rage, he grabbed the little girl and hurled her viciously toward the sharp corner of a table.

"No!" The woman let out an utterly heart-wrenching scream.

Her eyes went wide as she reached out in terror, as though she could already see her daughter's skull splitting open.

Before Hyuga Seisen's muddled mind could steady itself, his body moved first.

He lunged forward and barely caught the little girl in midair, slamming his back heavily into the table corner.

The agonizing pain made his vision go black, and cold sweat streamed down his face.

He had just set the little girl down and had not yet recovered.

The burly man had already used the Body Flicker to appear before him. "I told you to stay there."

Hyuga Seisen only felt a force explode against his body before he was sent flying again.

He crashed heavily into the same wooden wall.

"Puh!" His stomach churned violently, and he spat out a huge mouthful of blood.

Taking advantage of the opening, the woman hurriedly scooped up the little girl and ran toward the door behind them.

But after only a few steps, the burly man grabbed her by the hair and dragged her back. "Don't rush. I'll make sure you leave nice and peacefully later."

Hyuga Seisen looked at the three walls around him. The only exit was blocked by the burly man, and he had already been driven into a corner.

Under that extreme pressure, a reckless ferocity instead rose from the depths of his heart.

He gritted his teeth and spat out a mouthful of bloody phlegm.

His eyes fixed viciously on the burly man.

He no longer wanted to run. If he lost, then he would just start over.

He had died once already, anyway. This life had been picked up for free.

"Even if I can't win..."

His gaze darkly dropped toward the burly man's lower body.

"Even if I can't win, I'll still hit him where it hurts and make him suffer worse than death."

In the instant his thoughts raced through countless turns, Hyuga Seisen made up his mind.

He hesitated no longer, silently reaching for the kunai in his ninja tool pouch.

Just as he was about to exert himself, a wave of dizziness struck his mind, and he collapsed helplessly to the floor.

At the same time, the blurry text that had vanished earlier appeared again, now incomparably clear.

[All assets have been sold and converted into energy crystals as the energy source for this transmigration. Estimated remaining crystal uses for opening the Stone Gate: 1.] [Consume one use to open the Stone Gate and receive an ability projection?]

The text that had been blurry and vanished earlier was now incomparably clear.

His golden finger had arrived!

Open it! Open it! Open it! Hyuga Seisen screamed frantically in his heart.

The energy vortex within the Stone Gate suddenly began to churn at high speed.

Then, the vortex abruptly shot out a beam of white light, striking directly into his forehead!
