Background / History

Hyuga Seisen is a branch-family member of the Hyuga Clan and the son of Hyuga Kaze. His family is affected by reduced clan relief payments, and the Caged Bird curse mark defines the branch family's subordinate position within the clan. Kaze encourages Seisen to carve out a path beyond that fate, having failed to do so himself. 15 16

After integrating a Quincy race imprint, Seisen initially cannot sense spirit particles. Instead, he senses natural energy and uses chakra to emulate Quincy archery, forming the Sacred Arrow. When a burly man attacks Keiko and her daughter Eri, Seisen escapes to establish distance, then fires through the house wall and kills the attacker. 2 3
