Knocking Them Out, Catching "Dead Men"

With a leap, Bai Ye dropped straight from the pointed roof of the council hall tower to the ground.

Bai Ye's sudden descent gave Click and the others quite a fright.

"How did it go?" Texas helped Bai Ye straighten his slightly disheveled coat.

"Neither Biedermann nor Thorvald is dead... I've found them."

Bai Ye's words stunned everyone present. Their expressions were just as astonished as Bai Ye's had been when he first learned the news.

"Why did Tatyana deceive us? What role did these two people, confirmed 'dead' yet still alive, play in this fire? What is their relationship with the Winterspirits?"

Folinic frowned and fired off a string of questions.

"Perhaps Tatyana truly didn't know, or perhaps she was concealing it for Thorvald... In any case, she isn't the key. Biedermann and Thorvald are what matter... We have to find them."

As he spoke, Bai Ye waved to the Rhodes Island group.

"Don't tell Severin or Tatyana about this for now... Let's go find those two 'dead men' first."
