(Saturday—while everyone's farming the event, don't forget Annihilation!)
"Whew... that certainly cleared up quite a few of my questions..." Bai Ye placed the reports on the desk and pinched the bridge of his nose.
He had a headache.
If someone wanted to discuss swordsmanship or divine spell formulas with Bai Ye, he could talk with them for three days and nights. But if they wanted to discuss Terra's unique Originium Arts research, or Catastrophe theory encompassing ecosystems, natural environments, and Originium knowledge, Bai Ye could only stare blankly.
"Actually, with your abilities, relearning these things would not be difficult." Dr. Kal'tsit glanced at Bai Ye before continuing.
"If you are interested, I can arrange for you to study with the Caster Department and have Rhodes Island's Casters guide you."
Bai Ye smiled and shook his head.
"Forget it. I know I have a high aptitude for learning, and this sort of Originium Arts research does share some common ground with my spells—but rather than devote my attention to Originium Arts, I would rather improve my own strength."
"I have always lived by this principle: leave professional matters to professionals. We each have our own important duties, don't we?"
Dr. Kal'tsit nodded.
"You are right. Compared to research, you are better suited to being a frontline Operator."
"But Dr. Kal'tsit, the reason you showed me these two reports was not simply to let me know about these theories and conclusions, was it?" Bai Ye said, picking up the papers from the desk again and lightly flicking their edges.
"Indeed. I have another matter I wish to entrust to you."
Dr. Kal'tsit handed Bai Ye a letter.
"May I open it? This letter seems to be addressed to Bati... Hmm, this scent—was it sent from Leithania?"
Bai Ye merely sniffed the paper
