Background / History
Theresa led Babel and served as Kazdel’s Demon King during the Kazdel civil war. Her ideals centered on peace, coexistence, and a future in which the Sarkaz would not be defined solely by war. These ideals drew people of different races to Babel despite the dangers and hostility surrounding the organization. 103 117
The Banshee Court’s ruler, Llamalline Dukangfalisi, supported Theresa’s cause and sent her son Logos to serve under her. Llamalline later warned Theresa of Theresis’s assassination plan through a letter delivered by Han Fei. 103 106 129
The Doctor secretly shut down Babel’s defenses and admitted the Shroud Reapers to assassinate Theresa, believing Theresa’s death was necessary to end the civil war and allow the Doctor’s own plan to continue. 126 127 Theresa fought the assassins until exhaustion, entrusted the Black Crown to Amiya, and died after arranging her final instructions, including erasing the Doctor’s memories. 128 130
Han Fei revived Theresa with a Hormone Gun. With the world believing her dead and Theresis effectively victorious, she accepted that remaining publicly active would only reignite the conflict around Babel. 129 130 131 Han Fei offered her a place with his squad as an observer able to witness Rhodes Island’s future; Theresa ultimately agreed to leave Babel and join him. 133
Appearance
Theresa is a slender woman with long hair and a refined, gentle bearing. Her usual dress gives her a noble and elegant appearance, though she later adopts practical disguises to conceal her identity. 129 159
- Slightly taller than Texas. 174
- Traditionally wears light dresses rather than cumbersome combat clothing. 159
- Uses a dark, loose hooded robe while leaving Babel, obscuring both her sex and identity. 143
- In Kazimierz, disguises herself with a hoodie, casual pants, and sunglasses. 158
- Can equip concealed ballistic gear through Han Fei’s permissions; she finds a casual outfit combined with a helmet and armor visually strange. 158 159
Personality
Theresa is consistently gentle, composed, and considerate. Even while mortally wounded, she welcomes Han Fei’s group to Babel and apologizes that their first visit had to occur amid violence. 129 She remains calm in the face of betrayal and death, though her acceptance does not mean she is unaffected by what happened. 130 135
She is compassionate toward the vulnerable, particularly the Infected and children. In Kazimierz, she comforts Chastina, treats her with sisterly affection, and closes the eyes of a dead child after the Armorless Union’s attacks. 161 164 180 Her experience also makes her more cautious than Han Fei: she recognizes when he acts impulsively and considers the consequences for those who might be implicated. 181
After losing her former position, Theresa struggles with the idea of rest and with her new place in the world. She does not wish to abandon Babel’s ideals, but comes to accept that she can support its future without remaining its public leader. 131 133 169

Theresa’s ideals and character enabled Babel to unite personnel from different races around a shared goal of coexistence and improving the Sarkaz’s future. 117
