At last, the spaceship scraped along the ground for quite a distance before barely coming to a stop.
The Guardians of the Galaxy hurried out of the ship with fire extinguishers, putting out the flames inside and outside it.
White smoke billowed from the ship as parts began falling off with a series of grating screeches.
With a loud crash.
The rear half of the ship finally gave out and snapped clean off.
"Whoo, we survived!" Star-Lord raised both hands and cheered loudly like a baboon. "Hayato, I think we can discuss dinner now. Go ahead, what do you want to eat? I don't care how expensive it is."
"Of course you don't. Take a look at where we are. No matter what I want to eat, you can't get it."
Hayato pointed at their surroundings: a primeval forest.
A picnic would be nice. The ingredients were fresh and readily available, though they would have to gather and catch them themselves.
"Is this really the time to discuss food?" Gamora said irritably.
"Gamora's right. We're thirsty, so we should solve the drinking problem first," Drax said seriously.
Gamora turned around and glared at him.
"What? Did I say something wrong?" Drax looked innocent.

Furious at their lack of sense, Gamora roared at Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon, "If either of you used your brains instead of your lower bodies, either one of you could have gotten us safely through the Quantum Asteroid Belt! You nearly got everyone killed, you idiots!"
Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon said nothing. At a time like this, quietly taking the scolding was the correct choice. Once Gamora had vented, things would settle down again.
Sure enough, after cursing them out for a few moments, Gamora put her hands on her hips and fell silent.
