Wuye walked down the street holding Konan's hand, occasionally pointing things out and telling her what was around them.
But Konan paid more attention to the expressions of the people nearby.
Then she realized it was really just as Wuye had said. They barely paid any attention to the Hokage holding hands with an unfamiliar woman, still smiling and greeting him as "Lord Hokage."
"Do you often walk around in public holding hands with different women?" Konan suddenly realized.
"Come on, I'll take you to Konoha's best barbecue restaurant!"
Wuye ignored her question, tugging her hand and leading her forward.
"How many women do you have now?"
Konan refused to let him off.
Wuye turned back. Seeing that her expression remained calm, he could only smile helplessly. "I'm married to one, getting engaged to one tonight, there's one at the Daimyo Palace, and an older sister... then there's you..."
