Uchiha Shisui stood before Danzo, surrounded by quite a few Root shinobi.
"Lord Danzo, regarding the agreement between the Uchiha Clan and yourself, the elders sent me to confirm some details with you."
Uchiha Shisui wore a serious expression, showing no sign that he intended to use his ocular jutsu.
"Oh, as agreed, on the day we act, Root will cut off both the Anbu and the Administrative Affairs Department, ensuring they cannot interfere with your efforts against the Fourth," Danzo said slowly. "The masked man will act alongside you. As long as the Fourth falls for it, taking down all of Konoha will be easy. Then I will step forward to stabilize the situation. If necessary, we can even bring out Sarutobi to temporarily reassume the position of Hokage... After that, we'll expand our influence and strive to produce a Hokage from the Uchiha Clan within five years."
He looked up at Uchiha Shisui. "It's a pity you aren't from the main line. Otherwise, you would certainly be the best candidate for the future Hokage."
He spoke as if it were all true, and Uchiha Shisui listened with equal seriousness.
