"By the way, President Rose, you had Senior Brother Leon come find us. Was there something you needed?"

After chatting briefly with Rose, Gary steered the conversation back on track.

"It's like this." Upon hearing Gary's question, Rose did not conceal anything and stated his purpose directly.

"I would like to invite the three of you—Gary, Rosa, and Hilda—to come to the Galar Region and serve as Elite Four members. What do you think?"

"Serve as the Galar League's Elite Four!" Gary and the other two were all surprised upon hearing the news.

But after the surprise passed, Gary, now aware of Rose's intentions, jokingly said, "President Rose, you should know that I can't possibly serve under someone else. A mere Elite Four position won't satisfy me."

Upon hearing Gary's rather excessive demand, Oleana, standing beside Rose, frowned.

Clearly, Oleana had begun to feel somewhat displeased with Gary.
