Prelude to the Battle

"Gary, Wyndon Stadium is especially quiet today."

The next morning, Gary arrived at Wyndon Stadium with Rosa and Hilda at the appointed time.

Standing outside the stadium and looking at the nearly deserted venue, Rosa spoke with slight surprise.

Unlike its usual bustling atmosphere, Wyndon Stadium seemed especially deserted today.

Having noticed this, Gary naturally understood that this was Rose's doing, in accordance with his request to keep it private.

"It must have been Gary's request yesterday. President Rose cleared out Wyndon Stadium for today," Hilda voiced her thoughts.

"That must be it." Rosa immediately agreed with Hilda's view.

"Alright, let's go in!" Gary did not dwell on the matter.

"Okay."

After Rosa and Hilda agreed, Gary stepped forward and headed into the stadium. Seeing this, Rosa and Hilda immediately followed him.

When Gary and the others entered Wyndon Stadium, they quickly caught the attention of Rose, Leon, and the others who were already inside.

Upon seeing the three of them, Rose, Leon, and the others immediately greeted them with smiles.

"You're finally here!" Leon greeted the three with a smile.

"Welcome to Wyndon Stadium in Galar!" Rose welcomed Gary with gentlemanly warmth.

"Sorry, I'm late!" Gary said apologetically as he looked at the people before him.

"No, Gary, you're not late. I just arrived early," said a dark-skinned young man behind Rose and Leon before they could answer.

"And you are?"

Gary recognized the dark-skinned young man at a glance as Raihan, the Trainer of Hammerlocke Gym, but since they were meeting for the first time, he pretended not to know and asked.

"Let me introduce him. This is Raihan, the Trainer of our Hammerlocke Gym," Leon promptly introduced him after hearing Gary's question.

"Yo, hello there!" After Leon introduced him, Raihan waved in greeting.
