Battle Akui

"You insolent brat!"

Seeing Gary's calm and composed demeanor, Akui flew into a rage out of embarrassment and immediately commanded the Houndoom beside him.

"Houndoom, Flamethrower!"

After letting out a roar, the Houndoom beside Akui immediately unleashed a stream of fire at Gary.

But just as the Flamethrower was about to hit Gary, a dark-blue figure suddenly appeared in front of him. It was Gary's Garchomp.

The moment Garchomp appeared, it swung its Dragon Claw and cleaved the incoming Flamethrower in two, leaving Gary completely unharmed behind it.

"Garchomp!"

Seeing the imposing Garchomp standing before Gary, poacher Akui's eyes immediately lit up.

"Looks like fate still favors me. I actually ran into a pseudo-legendary Garchomp. Seems like the heavens want me to make a fortune!"

From those words, it was clear that poacher Akui had set his sights on Gary's Garchomp.

"Brat, if you know what's good for you, hand over that Garchomp obediently. Then I'll let you go this time."

"Garchomp is right here. If you've got what it takes, come and take it." Hearing Akui's greedy words, Gary smiled faintly as he spoke.

After Gary finished speaking, the Garchomp in front of him also let out a cooperative roar.

"You refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit!" Akui's expression immediately darkened upon hearing Gary's words.

"Houndoom, Dark Pulse!"

Having received Akui's command, Houndoom opened its jaws and fired a purple-black beam toward Garchomp.

"Garchomp, Dragon Pulse!"

Watching the incoming Dark Pulse, Gary waved a hand and gave Garchomp an order.

A white energy dragon shot from Garchomp's mouth and collided with the incoming Dark Pulse.

The white and black beams clashed between the two Pokémon, neither able to gain the upper hand for a moment.

"Garchomp, increase the power!"
