Laverre Gym

"We've finally arrived in Laverre City!"

After leaving Cianwood City, Gary continued his journey with Rosa, Hilda, and Serena, heading toward the location of the next Gym—Laverre City.

After several days of travel, the four of them finally arrived at their destination this time, Laverre City.

Looking at the cityscape right before her, Rosa said with some emotion, "But why does Laverre City feel different from what I imagined?"

Rosa sized up the city built against the mountains and its quaint old buildings, feeling as though some filter had shattered.

"Laverre City was built against the mountains and is also close to the sea, so this architectural style isn't all that surprising."

Gary glanced over the familiar scene before him, shook his head, and replied.

"Fine." With things already as they were, Rosa could only answer dejectedly.

"Rosa, if Mr. Valerie heard what you thought of Laverre City, he'd be disappointed," Serena teased.

"Who knows? He might even refuse to let you challenge the Gym."

"Forget it!" At Serena's words, Rosa immediately shut her mouth.

"Alright, it's already getting late. Let's hurry to the Pokémon Center. Once we've rested up, we still need to head to Laverre Gym."

Hilda could not bear to watch Rosa looking so listless any longer. She grabbed Rosa's arm and spoke with exasperation.

"Okay."

After Rosa agreed, Gary and the three girls quickened their pace toward Laverre City.

At last, around dinner time, Gary and the others reached Laverre City's Pokémon Center and checked in.

The next morning, after the refreshed group of four finished breakfast in the Pokémon Center cafeteria, they immediately headed toward Laverre Gym.

Unlike other Gyms, Laverre Gym had not been built within the city. It stood in the outskirts of Laverre City, built against a mountain.

"This is Laverre Gym."
