Mi Rufi and the Poké Puff Competition

"Alright, it's dessert time!"

After obtaining the Cliff Badge from Laverre Gym, Gary and the others left Laverre City and continued toward the next Gym city.

That morning, as Gary and the others passed through a small town, they decided to stop and enjoy some desserts and tea.

"I made some Poké Puffs, both for Pokémon and for us," Serena said as she took out her small bamboo basket and showed Gary the colorful Poké Puffs inside.

After saying that, Serena took one out and handed it to her Fennekin. After finishing it, Fennekin wore a satisfied smile.

"Not bad, Serena." Gary took the Poké Puff meant for him, took a bite, and commented, "Serena, your cooking has improved a lot!"

"Really?" Serena asked in delight upon hearing Gary's words.

"Of course," Rosa said, nodding after tasting one herself.

"I'm glad you like them." Serena was quite satisfied as she watched Gary and the others lavish her with praise.

After each Pokémon was given a Poké Puff, they happily began eating.

Just as Gary picked up a second Poké Puff and was about to eat it, it was suddenly enveloped in a white glow and floated behind them.

"Huh? Why is the Poké Puff floating?" Rosa immediately cried out in surprise when she noticed it.

Gary and the others immediately looked in the direction the Poké Puff had drifted. Soon, they saw the Poké Puff Gary had been holding float into the hands of a pink Pokémon, which promptly ate it.
