Kurotsuchi did not do as she was told.
"Old man, are you a little afraid of him too?"
Ōnoki's brows immediately shot up.
But Kurotsuchi did not care in the slightest.
She pointed at the battlefield records in the dossier.
"You possess Dust Release."
"That's a Kekkei Tōta capable of directly breaking enemies down into atoms."
"No matter how strong Uchiha Lieyang is, could he really block Dust Release?"
"It would be one thing if Konoha feared him."
"Why are you being so cautious too?"
Ōnoki grabbed the Tsuchikage hat from the desk and hurled it straight at Kurotsuchi.
"You ignorant girl!"
Kurotsuchi raised a hand and caught the hat.
There was little fear on her face. Instead, she looked even more confused.
"What did I say wrong?"
"Dust Release can indeed break enemies down."
Ōnoki descended to the floor.
His expression had completely darkened.
"But that's only if it hits!"
Kurotsuchi hugged the Tsuchikage hat and said nothing.
Ōnoki pointed at the intelligence dossier in her hands.
"Do you really think that just because I possess Dust Release, I'm invincible in the Shinobi World?"
"During the Second Shinobi World War, I failed to eliminate Hiruzen Sarutobi."
"During the Third Shinobi World War, Jiraiya once forced me back as well."
"When I followed my teacher in my early years and faced Madara Uchiha, I still failed to kill him."
His voice grew increasingly stern.
"Dust Release has a limited effective range."
"Against a ninja fast enough, even locking onto them becomes a problem."
"Even Might Guy from Konoha, after opening the Seventh Gate, could rush right up to me and kick me to death!"
Kurotsuchi's grip around the hat slowly tightened.
It was the first time she had heard Ōnoki admit his own limitations so bluntly.
