The mission was simple: Pakura was to travel to the Hidden Mist Village as Sunagakure's Peace Ambassador and sign a Peace Treaty.
"So basically, I just have to show my face and sign my name..."
She put away the Mission Scroll, recalling what Xuanhui had told her.
Thinking it over carefully, there didn't seem to be anything wrong.
But she still felt uneasy.
If she needed to stay on guard...
"Sensei, where's the Machine I asked you to research?"
"How could that thing be ready so soon? Just be patient. I've had more on my plate than I can handle lately."
"If that isn't urgent..."
Xuanhui was discussing research when he suddenly noticed something unusual.
"That girl left the Hidden Sand Village?"
"What did you say?"
Xuanhui turned and left the tent, leaving Orochimaru alone.
"I'll be back later."
"All right."
Xuanhui checked the direction she was traveling. She really was heading toward the Hidden Mist Village!
"That girl... still doesn't quite trust me..."
Xuanhui set off after Pakura.
After pursuing her for about a night, Xuanhui finally found Pakura traveling along the road, accompanied by two Hidden Sand Village ninja.
"Huh? Wait, that isn't her real body."
Xuanhui suddenly realized that the real body he had located in his mind didn't overlap with the person in front of him!
Rather than activating Sensory Mode, he used Eight Crossroads to pinpoint Pakura's real body.

Pakura had chosen a compromise.
She had accepted the mission, but used a clone the entire time while her real body secretly followed behind.

Xuanhui decided to follow Pakura's real body.
And so, after crossing countless mountains and rivers, the group finally entered the Land of Water.
