After catching up with the two of them, Xuanhui left with Pakura.
"Darling, are we going home?"
Home? There wasn't anything to do at home right now, either.
"Let's take a mission. See if there's anything we can do."
The two arrived at the mission board and carefully browsed the dazzling selection.
It was all finding lost cats and dogs or escorting deliveries.
"Shall we take an S-rank mission?"
"Which one?"
Xuanhui pointed to one of the missions on the first page of the S-rank listings.
"Locate the remains of Shimura Danzō, a former member of the Konoha High Command."
"A search mission? Aren't we taking a combat mission?"
"It's fine. We won't need to gather any intelligence. Just think of it as a vacation."
He had given both Shimura Danzō's and Hanzo's bodies to Sasori, who now kept them as his personal guards.
They only needed to stroll around, report truthfully that Danzo's body had been burned, and hand over the bones Sasori had left behind.
As for why Sasori had kept the bones, the reason was simple.
Xuanhui had asked him to. Sasori didn't need bones to make puppets, so he could save them for Orochimaru's Impure World Reincarnation.
They didn't even pack any bags. They simply changed into lightweight clothes and set off.
When they arrived at Amegakure, they happened to catch Nagato making it rain to water the land.
Xuanhui walked in, exposing his chakra to the rain.
Only then did Pakura open her umbrella and hold it beside Xuanhui.
"I'll hold the umbrella for you."
"Then I want to hold your arm."
"Wouldn't it be better if I carried you on my back?"
"That works, too."
Pakura handed the umbrella to Xuanhui and actually jumped onto his back.
"Why are you so heavy?"
"You're awful!
