Konoha Military Police Force

The template before Yushu was a skull-headed figure in a black leather jacket, flames rising from its head.

It was none other than Johnny Blaze, the first-generation Ghost Rider. Without hesitation, Yushu equipped the Ghost Rider ability template.

After equipping the template, Yushu immediately understood its abilities, which were roughly the same as what he remembered seeing before.

Overall, the Ghost Rider template possessed five major abilities: Hellfire, Judgment Eye, Chain Manipulation, Immortality, and Dimensional Teleportation.

Hellfire was Ghost Rider's core ability. It could burn any substance according to Yushu's will. If the target was a living creature, it would burn both their body and spirit. Water, vacuum, and the like could not affect Hellfire. It could also be infused into vehicles and weapons, strengthening them.

Judgment Eye was the ultimate application of Hellfire and one of its core abilities. By releasing Hellfire through his eyes, Yushu could make a target experience the pain they had inflicted upon others. Its intensity depended on Yushu's will, as well as whether the target considered their actions sinful. Even the blind could be judged, and the more people he judged, the more powerful the Hellfire would become.

Chain Manipulation was the template's exclusive equipment. Its characteristics were that it could not be damaged and could regenerate endlessly. Once covered in Hellfire, it could transform into all manner of weapon forms.

Immortality meant that before his Hellfire was completely exhausted, even if Yushu suffered a fatal attack, he could be reborn from the flames.

Dimensional Teleportation consumed a large amount of Hellfire to open a gateway between the present world and the Pure Land.

After gaining the template's abilities, Yushu did not test them. He merely sensed them briefly and discovered that he could only use Hellfire. The rest of the abilities were unavailable to him.

As for Immortality, the ability Yushu particularly coveted, he found that if he died now with only that tiny amount of Hellfire remaining, it would probably take at least a hundred years for him to be reborn.

Yushu did not dwell on it too much. Whenever he gained a new template ability, it was usually weak at first and needed to be developed gradually afterward.

There was no need to rush. He could grow steadily. After all, Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha had only just entered the Ninja Academy, and the real war was still more than a decade away. There was time for everything.

—it was nearly seven in the morning. Uchiha Yushu then led the four of them to the rooftop of the Konoha Military Police Force.

This was usually the best place for the entire Konoha Military Police Force to assemble.

By the time the five arrived on the rooftop, all members of the Konoha Military Police Force had already gathered.

The three captains behind Yushu each returned to their own units. A small number of the Konoha Military Police Force's upper management already knew what had happened, since they had attended the clan meeting the previous night.

However, most of the rank-and-file members and lower-level managers had not been qualified to attend the clan meeting due to their lack of strength, so they were rather confused.

Still, when Yushu had appeared, Fugaku and the three captains had all subtly treated him as the leader, allowing them to guess something.

Yushu stepped before the formation and said, "I believe you all know me. After all, I have been in the Konoha Military Police Force for two years. But just in case, let me introduce myself. The words of the two men shocked many who were hearing the news for the first time. However, the Konoha Military Police Force was, after all, an armed organization with its own discipline, so no one whispered among themselves as they had at the clan meeting.

After laying out his arrangements in one breath, Yushu began observing everyone's reactions.

"Uchiha Yushu, don't think I don't know how you became clan head. Now I possess the same power as you. As long as I defeat you, I will become the new clan head."

Watching the crazed Uchiha Longtao, Yushu felt a little troubled. The drawbacks of taking the position of clan head in such a hurry had become apparent.

He directly mobilized the small amount of Hellfire in the Ghost Rider template. With a thought, Hellfire engulfed Uchiha Longtao at a speed nearly as fast as teleportation.

Uchiha Longtao had not expected Yushu to attack so quickly and was startled. Having heard of the Vermilion Bird title, he knew that once Yushu's flames touched someone, they were as good as finished.

Yet the temperature was not high. Although the flames had already begun burning over his body, the pain they caused was clearly nothing to a ninja.

"Hahaha! Uchiha Yushu, is this your Fire Release? It seems your strength was completely exaggerated by those Kirigakure trash."

"So it really doesn't work?" Although Uchiha Yushu had expected this, the result still disappointed him. Frowning slightly, he was about to use the Human Torch template's high-temperature flames to kill Uchiha Longtao when a sudden change occurred.
