The End of the War

The aftershock from the giant sword cleaving through the alternate dimension still reverberated through the air.

White chakra drifted everywhere like falling snow, and the Rabbit Monster's enormous body had long since vanished without a trace.

Kaguya lay helplessly on the shattered ice. The icy water and mud beneath her had stained her once-spotless white robe.

She struggled to prop herself up and stand again, but her chakra had been completely drained. Her wrist gave out, and she fell heavily back into the mud. Her pure white eyes remained fixed on Chenshu Senju, filled with humiliation and despair. She could not understand how she, the ancestor of chakra, had been driven into such a state by a mere human.

Chenshu Senju stood before her and sighed. "Stop struggling. It's exhausting just watching you. That outdated routine of yours is long past its time. Young people these days don't fall for that crap."

Kaguya clenched her teeth, veins throbbing at the corners of her eyes, yet she could not utter a single retort. Black Zetsu was gone, and so was her power. She was now weaker than even an ordinary Chunin.

Chenshu Senju turned toward the edge of the snow pit. Naruto and Sasuke were still standing there dumbly, mouths hanging open and expressions vacant, like two frozen ice sculptures.

"Have you two enjoyed the show enough?"

Naruto jolted and pointed at Kaguya with a stammer. "It's... over just like that?"

"What else? Do you want to keep her around for dinner?" Chenshu Senju rolled his eyes.

He raised his right hand, and a stream of golden chakra reached toward the two of them. Space rippled. Naruto and Sasuke felt their collars tighten, then their bodies flew through the air against their control, landing precisely on the shattered ice at Chenshu
