Marriage Pressure

After sending Orochimaru off to clean the sewers, life finally settled down for a while. A few months flew by, Konoha's reconstruction was basically nearing completion, and Senju Manor no longer had endless lines stretching through it like a vegetable market every day.

During this time, the Raikage and Tsuchikage sent supplies to Konoha every few days to show their loyalty. Ōnoki even dug up Iwagakure's ancestral stone carvings and sent them over, claiming it was to add some historical depth to Senju Manor.

Chenshu Senju thought those carvings were too ugly and tossed them to Kakashi to fill the foundations of the Hokage Building.

After becoming Hokage, Kakashi was buried under piles of documents every day, on the verge of tears. He did not even have time left to read Make-Out Paradise.

Naruto was still grinding through the Chunin Ninja Exams papers. Apparently, he had been thrown out of the exam room together with his chair yesterday after snoring during the test, courtesy of Iruka.

Everyone had a bright future ahead of them. Only Chenshu Senju had become an idle, unemployed bum.

The weather was nice today. The sunlight in the backyard was just right, and the air carried a faint scent of grass and trees. Chenshu Senju lounged comfortably in a recliner, basking in the sun, with a cup of freshly brewed tea on the small table beside him.

Just as he was about to fall asleep, a piercing electronic voice suddenly popped up in his mind.

The announcement
