Once the two of them pointed it out, Ye Lan noticed it too. Compared with the recent photos, Oh-no Amoonguss had grown much darker, as though it had been steeped in Poison-type energy.
"Oh-no Amoonguss, are you feeling all right?"
Ye Lan knew exactly where the Poison-type energy practically spilling out of Oh-no Amoonguss had come from. Eternatus's power was no easy thing to control. If Dynamax energy slipped out of control, a Pokémon could lose control of itself in an instant.
The Oh-no Amoonguss line had no Dynamax form to begin with, and Little Mushroom had gone and eaten the energy outright. Any sign that something was wrong put Ye Lan on alert.

Oh-no Amoonguss bounced around, then stopped and shook its head in confusion. It felt perfectly fine and had no idea what its trainer was talking about.
Even so, Ye Lan noticed something. Little Mushroom seemed a little too energetic.
But Oh-no Amoonguss was about to evolve, so Ye Lan pushed his unease aside for the moment.
Only then did Ye Lan turn to Rillaboom, who had settled into its familiar spot just behind and to one side of him. Seeing how much it had changed, he couldn't hide his satisfaction.
