Volkner was young enough to be Wattson's grandson, but the two often discussed theories of electrical power together. Despite the age gap, they had become good friends.
They also knew Clemont from the Kalos Region. In their own way, they were all kindred spirits.
They were all homebodies who loved tinkering with electricity. Without online friends, a life spent with nothing but machines would have been far too dull.
