"I'm fine."
"Maybe it was because he saw an old friend. Back when Vali was training abroad, wasn't he looked after for a while by a girl named Lavinia?"
It was Albion, the White Dragon Emperor residing within Vali's body, who spoke.
"Oh, oh, I remember now. After you came back, you used to space out all the time, and Albion mentioned her often too."
Azazel had assumed it was just normal adolescent behavior. To solve Vali's craving for women, he had even specifically selected quite a few beautiful fallen angels and sent them to Vali, but Vali had not taken a liking to a single one.
No matter what he was asked, he refused to say anything.
"Stop nagging, Albion."
Vali looked displeased.
"Vali, it's not that I want to say this, but psychological issues are serious. They'll hinder your path to becoming stronger. You still haven't fully developed all of my power. If something goes wrong in the future, it'll be troublesome."
Albion sighed.
"Indeed, one must keep one's resolve firm on the path to strength. If you want to see that girl Lavinia so badly, I'll personally bring her here."
Azazel spoke seriously.
After raising Vali for so many years, he had already come to see him as an adopted son.
Having no descendants of his own, he cared for Vali as though he were his biological son.
"It has nothing to do with her, and she wouldn't like that either."
Vali immediately shook his head.
"Then I'll take you to see her."
"That won't work either."
"???"
This truly left Azazel at a loss.
His attitude toward women had always been straightforward.
If he saw a beautiful woman, he would strike up a conversation. If they got along, he could get things done that very night.
