Ren protected Asia, joined the Eastern Witches of Oz’s campaign against the Five Great Houses, and defeated Satanael during the assault on the Inner Shrine. After rescuing Lavinia and taking the Treasure of Uji, Ren stayed in Kyoto with Asia and prepared to continue taking missions.

• Ren rescued Asia from expulsion and brought her from Italy to Tokyo, where he killed Muzan Kibutsuji and earned new abilities.
• Ren joined the Eastern Witches of Oz as a Hero Faction representative and learned of their plans to attack the Five Great Houses.
• Ren joined the midnight assault on the Inner Shrine, destroyed its barriers, and took the Treasure of Uji from its underground altar.
• Suzaku Himejima battled Satanael, and Ren used his speed and sword to kill the fallen angel after Suzaku weakened him.
• Ren killed the retreating Inugami Gyobu and Onra, then learned that Jaucusta had deceived Lavinia about her missing mentor, Glinda.
• Ren rescued Lavinia from Jaucusta, killed the witch, and captured the purple flame that became the Cross of the Purple Flame Sacrificial Lord.
• Lavinia accepted Ren’s offer to stay at his house, while he told her to meet him after visiting her friends at the Inner Shrine.
• Ren told Griselda about the battle but chose to remain in Kyoto, then let Asia sleep beside him before waking with her cuddled against him.

Ren rescued Asia, bound the Three Great Yokai’s souls, and gathered a household that included several fallen angels and Kuroka. As he helped Akeno and Koneko face their family ties and prepared to aid Rias, he pursued stolen Holy Swords and uncovered Valper’s experiment at an abandoned factory.

• Ren took Asia sightseeing in Kyoto, where Kunou introduced herself and became friends with her.
• Suzaku Himejima asked Ren to deliver a letter to Akeno and enlisted his help reforming the Himejima Family, while Ren fused with Jaucusta’s Sacred Gear.
• Ren rescued Kuroka, bound the Three Great Yokai’s souls to his Sacred Gear, and brought Asia and Lavinia to Kuoh Town.
• Ren defeated Raynare, Mittelt, and Kalawarner, cursed them into obedience, and cleared up a misunderstanding with Rias’s group by giving Akeno Suzaku’s letter.
• Akeno told Ren that Rias was pressured to marry Riser, and Ren urged Akeno to help Rias win a Rating Game rather than rely on inadequate training.
• Ren reunited Kuroka with Koneko, who eventually forgave her sister and agreed to train with her, while Akeno committed to using her inherited power to support Rias.
• After accepting Griselda’s mission to recover three stolen Holy Swords, Ren learned that Kokabiel directed the thefts and tracked the swords to an abandoned factory.
• Ren fought through the stray exorcists at the factory and confronted Valper and Freed Sellzen II, learning that Valper had continued the Holy Sword Factor experiments.

Ren defeated Kokabiel, joined the Hero Faction’s visit to Khaos Brigade, and persuaded Katerea to pursue a political path instead of open conquest. As the three-faction peace talks approached Kuoh Town, Ren reunited with the others at the hotel, where an unfamiliar presence appeared outside.

• Ren killed Kokabiel in Kuoh Town, saved Rias and Sona’s peerages, and met Vali, who came to retrieve Kokabiel’s remains.
• Ren returned home with Lavinia and Kuroka, then arranged for Xenovia and Irina Shidou to stay in Kuoh Town under his direction.
• Jeanne brought Ren to Khaos Brigade headquarters, where he met Ophis and Katerea Leviathan and accepted Katerea’s offer to join her campaign.
• Ren convinced Katerea that her plan to conquer the world would fail and urged her to establish a country and govern it peacefully.
• Ren and Katerea agreed that she would secretly turn against Creuserey’s army during the coming conflict, while Ren returned to Kuoh Town.
• Ren’s household welcomed Xenovia and Irina, and the girls reconciled with Asia as the three-faction conference drew nearer.
• Akeno Himejima brought Ren and his companions to the hotel, where Rias hosted them before tense visitors arrived outside.

Ren attended the three-faction conference, where Creuserey and the Old Maou Faction attacked, and he defeated Creuserey and Vali. Afterward, Ren helped Katerea negotiate a nation of her own while training Rias and Gasper, and the story left him preparing to hunt Shalba Beelzebub.

• Serafall and Sirzechs thanked Ren for saving Rias, granted him land, and invited him to attend the conference in Kuoh Town.
• Ren asked Sirzechs to investigate Kuroka’s wanted notice, and Sirzechs agreed to pardon her if the allegations proved true.
• Ren sparred with Azazel, defeated him within a minute, and won the Flash Rider Kick skill.
• Gabriel gave Ren Ascalon and told him that God had died, then Ren joined the leaders of the three factions at their conference.
• Creuserey and Katerea attacked the conference, but Katerea turned against Creuserey, and Ren killed him before defeating Vali.
• Ren defeated the remaining witches, confronted the frightened Gasper, and watched Katerea negotiate to establish a nation on the Underworld’s border.
• Ren trained Rias and Gasper while Asia enrolled at Kuoh Academy, and Katerea later told him that the government had approved her nation.
• Ren accepted a quest to find and kill Shalba Beelzebub after warning Katerea that Shalba might sabotage her plans.
